Good riddance and I hope he rots in hell. It is a shame he did not think of the consequences before he committed this senseless crime.

While its neat that this Guy won't be a burden on our taxes, he probably shoulda been on medication a long time ago. It's obvious he's had mental problems from the beginning, looks like nobody took charge to notice it and help him out.

WOW so much compassion!!!! I understand that the girls family is hurting, but he is someone's son, and there are people who will morn him. What he did was awful, and my first compassion is for the girl and her family, but don't forget to do what he did he must be a very troubled human being.

It is a shame that when he chose to kill, he didn't start with himself first.

If this fool had been on the outside, he probably would have taken out a couple of innocent victims before turning a gun on himself.
Good riddance.

encouraging inmates to take their lives before they have been tried & sentenced for a crime is unethical, and goes against the very principals our founding fathers set forth. Even dirtbag criminals have rights, like the right to a fair trial. Am i sad to see this guy dead? of course not. did he probably need medication & suicide watch? yes, probably. Personally, i'd rather have seen him suffer 20-40 years as someone's bitch in prison.

Comon folks (History, take it easy)...how can you find compassion for this guy?
I feel compassion for the family that they won't relive the whole episode through trials and appeals.

ScottW should get a Nobel Prize for the idea of the millenium. if every cell came standard equipped with a noose, imagine how many problems would just solve themselves. is there any legal reason why this cant be done?

"I had no indication, none whatsoever, no suggestion that he was thinking of taking his own life." WHAT?? He wanted to plead guilty and accept the death penalty, how could they not have had ANY idea?

It's not going to cost you less. it's not going to save taxpayers any money. His family will now sue the county because they didn't prevent him from committing suicide. They will get a judgement in the millions because they will say the county should have had him in isolation because he was suicidal.
