You've already said "let GOD figure out what to do with them". then you say "why should god have mercy on their souls?" You're not god and it's not for you to judge if you believe in god the bible says not to judge--not to kill (i'm not christian--this is your bible not mine.) You can't pick and choose what what you want out of your bible. I don't think your jesus would agree with execution.
