Dollar General on old Route 220 burglarized Tyrone Police reported that the Dollar General store on old Route 220 was burglarized and heavily vandalized Sunday around 8:30 a.m. Police say those involved tried to steal money, but they didn't say if they were successful.

i really hope they find out who it was but i dont think they will if they let it up to thepolice department to handle things i think tyrone has the only policedepartment that dont answere the phone half the time and when you go to the station they dont answere the door you have to ring a bell!!!!i dont know what is going to become of tyrone but right now i am ashamed to tell anyone im from tyrone pa .
