We ate there last week, I had the the crab cake, corn on the cob and green fried tomatoes, my wife had the seafood crepes, the service was excellent, I will give them one more chance, the food sucked.

We have been to the resturant two times, since they opened the weekend of the Crab Derby. The staff is VERY friendly and the food is GREAT. The chef Arthur came over and introduced himself which we found unusal. Jerry and Shawn are the most friendly folks. We will be back next season for sure. GOOD LUCK

When I went there the crab cake was not very good and the service was worse. But that's beside the point...this man did not SAVE the property from auction, he had negotiated with the owner for its purchase earlier in the year but then decided to wait until the owner was about to lose it to step in and 'steal' it for a quarter of what he was going to buy it for originially. Now it seems this man got his panties in a bunch when he wasn't as successful as he wanted to be and he up and closed up and left town for the winter, leaving behind people with newspaper ads in hand wondering why there are locked doors when they went for the advertised specials.

I felt the same way, I was very very disappointed in my crab cake and the staff was more interested in their personal dramas than me, they were in a heated discussion about their bosses. As a server myself, you do not diss your boss in front of the customers. Also they advertised a big Halloween party with a great band and now I found out they closed with no notice. Apparently what the staff was saying about the owners was true, but you still don't bring it to the plate when you are working. Lack of professionalism from top to bottom is evident.

I agree. The place seemed so disorganized. Hardly what you would expect from someone with experience. Also someone I was told was a manager was there quite intoxicated both times I went and very loud and argumentative. My food order and my drink order were both wrong. If you have to keep apologizing for mistakes with the excuse that "we're new", then perhaps they shouldn't have opened until they were experienced.

I think this fall was a test run. They didn't even have a full menu. Just working out the kinks and weeding through the help to get the best. Next spring when they open things will be alot different.....I hope.
