Prisoner on Conn. death row is stabbed in jail

I remember this story in the Connecticut Post, This dirtbag deserves to die a slow painfull death.

In my opinion, I think Russell Peeler gotten what he desreve. I'm just surprise that nothing had happen to him sooner.

well they just saved us about $100,000.00 a year...it costs about 52k a year to house these criminals..now maybe the state can do something about gas prices

Should we feel sorry for this inmate that took the lives of two individuals I think not, he got what he deserved and with that I have no remorse for him. As stated in previous view-points the state just saved some money here, onto the gasoline crises.

So he died on Death Row, we should thank the convict who killed him, saved the taxpayers some money.

The last few comments suggested that Russell Peeler was killed and it is a saving to tax payers. If you read the article, he was not killed and it is actually costing tax payers to treat his wounds.

Peeler is a miserable creep and hopefully he won't survive the next attack.

Too bad the guy didn't finish the job and save taxpayers some money.

If you really know the drug game then you know what Peeler and his brother did is all apart of selling drugs! The person that Russel killed was a drug dealer who took some drugs from one of Peeler's lady friends house. Rudy would give them back so Peeler saw him and shot him up not knowing the boy was in the car. Then Rudy press charges and allowed the little boy to sign statements against Peeler without his mother consent. Now Rudy has involved his girlfriends son and his girlfriend into the drug game he's playing and now everyone is fare game according to the drug game!!!
THIS IS STREET LIFE AND ORGANZIED CRIME USES THE SAME REASONING!!

I hope the next guy has better aim and/or a bigger weapon. Save us all some $$ housing these scumbags

Both of these fine, upstanding men should be sentenced to change tires on the side of I-91 every morning, if you know what I mean. What is the point of death row if none of these monsters are actually executed?

family visits 1 every six months, No gym, gang chain - town clean ups regardless of weather, no outside recess. Why should they be so comfortable in jail while our men and woman in the military are going through serious rough conditions.

I agree, in some way i think death is too easy for him, he needs to suffer, how about posting the victims pictures (especially the little boy) in his cell, and let his conscience eat at him. That is far worst punishment. then after a year kill him!!!!
