Embezzlement???

I was just wondering if anybody has heard anything about an embezzlement at Macon Bank in Westmoreland? I've heard many rumors swirling but I haven't seen anything on the news on the web.

Welllll...there is truth in the rumor that the Manager of Macon Bank n' Trust was escorted from the bank on or about Wednesday 3/25/2009 but further details are sketchy. But The FBI is investigating sooo it must be serious....more later..when I know it..

I live here in Westmoreland and if the embazzlement is heard anything about it will be news to me. Things like that get pushed over the rug around here. Remember the stoling at Fleetwood. Ha ha did not hear anymore about that did you. That was A SOMEBODY that did that. Pushed it over the rug. People would not believe the things that happen around here and never heard about.

I completely agree with you!! Any other city would have it on the front page of the newspaper, but not in our town. People are too scared to do their job and let the citizens know whats going on. I do remember the Fleetwood issue. And you're right it was pushed under the rug. I say we call that guy on News Channel 2 **That's Messed Up**!!!

That is the problem here in this town. It is all about who you are not right and wrong. And what really disappoints me is that some of this people are big church members. They can tell you what you do wrong, but hide their own sins. think how many times the chicken fighters were in the papers and on tv. Now think how many times you have seen any of the other issues printed, not much if any. Now is this RIGHT or WRONG. SIN is SIN and not just for a few but all.

Haven't heard anything!!!! The whole topic has been put on hush-hush mode.

The truth is that it will probably remain under raps to save face for the bank as a whole. I can understand that but just as someone else said, it will never be huge news....I don't like to see people fall on their face but I do think everyone should be accountable for wrong doings.

Will here it is September and nothing on the embezzelment case. This lady is out in town like nothing happened. If that had been anyone else they would be in jail. They would have been ran on the newspaper every week. Bnt she was not caught for chicken fighting I guess. I don't think anything will ever be done about it. I know some more people that got caught and nobody know much about it either. It is not what you do, it is who you are. It is a shame our town has turned out to be this way. The last count I had this lady was still setting in church and talking about how sorry people were. Look in the mirror lady.

Got a laugh when I went to the paper this week. Did not read about the embezzalment case, but a rooster fight sure is. If rooster fighting is so wrong, then is stealing not. I have the answer. THE NAME. That is why. We will never hear anything about what happen with the banker. But a rooster fighter never ends.

Will know body has heard a word about the banker. That is what I thought, swipe it under the rug. I mayself was screwed by these people. This lady may think she has got away with this but God will take care of her you just watch and see. I use to trust her but no more she lost that from me. If she get away with this she will do it again.

Well I know the lady and I trusted her then and I still do. Maybe the reason you did not hear anything, just could be there is nothing to hear. Futhermore if she is not locked up, could just mean she is innocent of anything against the law. What she did may have been poor bank ethics but not against the law. Believe you me if the FBI dropped then you need to.

I agree we need to drop it. Just as will drop it. Nothing will be done about it. But for those that were caught fighting chickens, why are they not forgot? They were bother wrong. One got in trouble and the other got nothing. It is more about who you are than what you do.

Ok. Proper grammar. Let's say it like this. My Bible say's Thou shalt not steal. And for you to be made whole again, you pay everyone that you have done wrong 10 times more. I had money missing in all this and the only way that lady can be made whole again is pay it back. Never ask about 10 times. I spoke to her and she blow me off. She should not sleep until she makes things right, I would not. I see her and she drops her head. That tells me she knows she was wrong. As far as being investigating of this. Who cares. She may get away with it, but if she did it she needs to fix it herself, she know if she did wrong. Not me or anyone else. Man may not convict her. but at judgement day God may and that would be a shame.
