McLean, Kavanagh to run for Livonia judge post

I believe Kavanagh is a republican do not know but would guess McLean is a Democrat.

Both good candidates, I'm going to vote for the one who buys me a beer at the Knights, George Murphy's, Coaches Corner, or Mason's. I'll be looking for them.

mclean is an independent party. his campaign is centered around no politics in the court room unlike kavanagh who is a staunch republican.

If you're running for office you should claim your party's affiliation. I think that's only right I can't vote for someone who is running for an elected office and not know what he is. A person's party leanings tell me a lot about him. We know so little about these people that are running for offices all around us. Why not tell us more rather than less? I can't see someone being a-political when you want votes!!!!! And I hate it when you can't find that info out on the internet about them. I guess they don't want me to vote for them, eh? Well, I won't.
