As a member of New Generation, I stand behind my pastor fully. He is a wonderful preacher, man and friend. Looking at the article I found it strange that these crimes happened 9 years ago and it is just now coming to trial!? There was no phyisical evidence, so I am not convinced that Maurice Jackson is guilty.

When no evidense is presented and credibility is the issue, how can a man of God who ministers to the needs of people everyday be found guilty?
Especially a pastor with over 500 possible character witnesses,(the congregation)of whom he serves!

I know this man, and I know the victims. This man is very much guilty. I find it difficult to understand how church member congregate around this individual whom has been found guilty of child abuse. That is almost as much of a sin as the act its self. People have to come together for the children and help them return to the lord and help overcome this horrific act. I know several women who have made clams that he has abused them and they claim to know of several other girls this has happen to, and chose not to come forward. We can not pass judgment on anyone including those who this happen to as well as Jackson, however we can hold people accountable for their actions. He is a sick man and needs help with his issues not passiveness from outsiders(those not involved in the case) concerning his child molestation. He has children, we need to pray for his very young children and his wife and hope they can overcome the deeds of the Jackson. People need to stop acting like it did not happen that has gone on long enough.

I don't believe these lies that has caused us to be without a leader...As a church and a member we are standing behind and beside him 100%...How can anyone be convicted of this crime when they had no evidence and they went on the credibility of the accusers...I await the day when I see my pastor walked into New Generation again and mount the pulpit...I miss and love you pastor...

All of us need to fall on our face in prayer for the Jackson family... the only man who walked this earth without sin was Jesus. You better look in the mirror.
Peace be with you!

If he was a true man of God he would not have been convicted, he got what he deserved! Just becuase he is a reverend and allot of you do not want to admit thay you have had high respect for a man of evil, do not act like he is without sin.

You think two separate but equl person are lying about one mans indescretions, wake up people!

The lord was present in the courtroom, he was with the victims!!!!!

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
Brothers, if someone is caught in sin, you who are spiritualnshould restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Gal. 6:1 NIV
There is no measure of sin. Sin is sin. What is yours?
