Read the article for clarification.
The Romneys don't use the EZ form.
(CBS News) After weeks of speculation about his tax returns, Mitt Romney on Thursday said he paid at least 13 percent in income taxes for each of the past 10 years.

"I did go back and look at my taxes, and over the past 10 years I never paid less than 13 percent," Romney told reporters at the Greenville-Spartanburg International airport in South Carolina. "I think the most recent year is 13.6 or something like that. So I paid taxes every single year."

<quoted text>More lies. Ever heard of Oprah Winfrey? Robert Johnson? Russell Simmons? How about every black NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL player?
How about Beyoncé and Jay-Z? Denzel Washington? Halle Berry?
George Lopez? Roberto Goizueta? Alex Rodriguez? Tim Gill? Jann Wenner? Chris Hughes?
Not a single one of them are straight, white males.
BTW, the top 2% is defined as having an annual income of $250,000.
If you think that's a boatload of money on the Northeast Coast or the California Coast, it just proves to me that you've never been out of Ohio.
You didn't name all the others that far out number these few. Name all the white ones. What about the 1%?

I refuse to spoonfeed you.

Read the article so that you might understand the complexity of the various U.S. tax rates attributed to income, dividends, et al. and the adjustmetns ad infinitum.

If you insist on your neurotic classification of Americans by melanin, please note that white Americans are the majority. Logic should take you to the next conclusion.

Or not.

The more wealth you have the more control you have. The only reason Obama got into office was because the country was sick of Bush and Chainey ripping us off and all the lies. Obama was voted in virtually by the people. The wealthy had no control.

The top one percent earn $380,000 a year. And again, you seem to think that's some huge fortune.
The "problems" aren't going to be fixed until we disassociate wealth from income. "Income" that isn't used to build wealth is either "consumed", or left in the system to help others build wealth. Taxing it only means less of it will be available to help those others.

Like it or not, most of us survive or thrive on the coattails of others. It seems counterproductive to set those coattails on fire.

The wealthy use racism, religion, sexist attitudes and fear to manipulate the country into voting for whomever will benefit them the most. Romney is their man. Who does he owe the most favors to? The very wealthy that have given to his base. They don't want Obama, he does not benefit them, he wants them to pay their fair share. As long as they can supress the votes of the black and the poor, this increases their chances of getting into office. Why do you think the Repubs give so much to the chuches? So their members will vote Republican. Everyone is bought in the election. Money buys the presidency. And you are stupid if you don't think wealth runs the country. They don't really care about the people or the issues or morals, only how they can maintain their wealth and control.

It is not going to kill them to pay their fair share it has been done before by Clinton. They have the wealth to create jobs right now. Greed.

Romney may be "the man" for those who want to create wealth, but not for those who already have it. Those who already have it are perfectly happy to watch those who would hinder others from trying to reach their ranks, and you and people who think like you are playing right into their hands. You're being suckered.

That must explain why he has circumvented Congress [and thus, the U.S. Constitution] via Executive Order...900+ times, to be exact.

The dicktator is doomed in November.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
