http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/natio... Hey folks at least he showed up, unlike fearless leader who apparently did not have the time. No worries, he is sending Joe Biden...LOL (from the link.....) Romney has a personal history with civil rights issues. His father, George, spoke out against segregation in the 1960s and, as governor of Michigan, toured the state's inner cities as race riots wracked Detroit and other urban areas across the country. He went on to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he pushed for housing reforms to help blacks. One last point...If Obama were to be booed by an all white crowd I wonder how the news would cover it...insert "r" word here..... Feel free to opine........

When I voted for Pat Buchanan in the 1992 GOP primary, I had a dream of him going to the NAACP and laying it on the line, or saying, "screw it; what's the point of wasting my time." Then Ross Perot went and did it, LOL!

Yes he was booed when he mentioned eliminating obamacare however he received a standing ovation (a first for a Republican I think) before he left the stage, ending his speech about his Father's Civil Rights activities and remarks about his Mormon religious beliefs.

Asking them if they liked the high unemployment rate, asking them if any own businesses and whether they like the additional health care costs and the increased min. wage were okay with them. I loved it when they started booing that he was going to repeal ObamaCare. He should have shot a few questions right back at them about people doing their fair share.

So what does that say about Barry Soetoro, the octoroon being promoted as our "first black president"? No college transcripts. No medical records. He's pretty skinny these days. Wasting away from AIDS maybe? How do we know?

His birth certificate that experts say is forged. His income? His school records which he has spent a small fortune to keep hidden? Who actually wrote Dreams of my Father which again experts said obama didn't write but rather Bill Ayers. There is actually little known about obama. I may have missed it but has any girl come forward and said I dated obama in High School or College? Has you ever seen him in the company or mention childhood friends by name or adult personal friends from anywhere? Have you seen him in the company of personal friends at the White House, golfing, or vacation? And you worry about Romney's tax returns. I am quite sure that if there were any questions about Romney's returns the IRS would have taken it up long ago. It's not like he's low profile. I don't know it to be fact but I'll bet he gets audited more than once in a blue moon.

No to spending a small fortune to keep anything under wraps. But every time a birther goes to court, a certain amount of legal representation is required to respond. No to is there any amount of documentation that could satisfy the birthers. BTW--where are Romney's medical records and complete transcripts?

BTW--where are Romney's medical records and complete transcripts? Who are they? If that's true why are there no discussions of his academic records, they're sealed. His birth certificates have been examined by top experts including his most recent release and they have determined they are poorly forged. As far as using an announcement from Hawaii on his birth, I found the following.... [§338-17.8] Certificates for children born out of State.(a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child. (b) Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate. (c) The fee for each application for registration shall be established by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91.[L 1982, Apparently you don't have to have actually been born in Hawaii to get a birth certificate from Hawaii. Right now, Romney is still running for the position as the nominee for for the GOP. Once he receives the nomination at the Convention in August, I'm sure some things will change. Romney now is only the presumed candidate not the official candidate until the delegates cast their votes.

All one has to do is look at Joe Biden's speech today and do the smallest amount of compare/contrast to Willard's speech from yesterday. Biden sees the importance of access to healthcare/early childcare to African American mothers. He sees the importance of expanding access to voting for minority communities, versus the voter suppression being waged forward by the wingnut right. Biden was on the front lines of the civil rights movement in his years as ranking member on the Judiciary. He also affirmatively notes that the Rethuglicans we're dealing with today "is not your father's Republican Party" because they've completely sold out to the wealthy and the bibled crazies and have ZERO awareness of the needs of the black community.
There really is no comparison between etch-a-sketch photo op Romney and passionate Biden when it comes to identifying with black voters.
BTW - it's 117 days until the election today -- who is Romney's running mate???? Anybody know???

Hasn’t he been ignored by mainstream media, including Fox News due to his inability to substantiate his claims? Didn’t he flunk a polygraph test after being offered $100,000 if he could pass one? A little history here: Sinclair was arrested for larceny in ’81. He was convicted of theft and forging a check in ’85. He was charged with check fraud and credit card fraud in ’86. In ’87 he was convicted of forgery and sentenced to 16 years. In prison, he was disciplined 97 times for assault, threats, drug possession, intimidation and verbal abuse. He went on a hunger strike in ’96. Unfortunately, he didn’t die. If you’re crazy enough to use a career criminal as a reliable source for allegations against Obama, then you’re just as retard as HE is. Good day, maggot.

The "wingnut right" simply wants to weed the cheaters off of the election rolls and make sure only qualified voters cast votes. The "thoughtful left" wants dead people to be able to vote for Al Franken. We are on to your games and it's not going to work anymore. 80% of the people support voter ID because they understand who cheats and who steals elections ... and it ain't the "wingnut right".

Only liberals are stupid enough to accept an octoroon as the "first black president". It shows how stupid you people really are and how desperate you are to live in your fantasy world where everybody holds hands and sings Kumbaya.

Front lines on a committee. Wasn't it Dems that opposed the Civil Rights agenda in Congress? Romney is not the official candidate. The delegates have not voted yet. He may announce early because he is the presumed candidate but he is not the official candidate. Anything could happen at the convention.

Holmes, there are plenty of cases of voter fraud you libs just keep insisting that they are not relevant because they are in such small numbers. But you folks conveniently forget that those small number can and do indeed impact elections, like the election of George Bush and Al Franken. It doesn't matter if there is one fraudulent vote or 500, it is still fraud and the Democrats are well known for engaging in it. There is nothing wrong with voter ID - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
