The Honda driver should have just stayed in her lane. Not that it's her fault, though.

when will people learn that motorcycles are for organ donors. And the driver of the honda should know better that when some idiot is speeding up behind you never to leave your lane. If i'm going the speed limit I do not change lane for ANYONE if they really want to go around me they will find a way

Agreed, she's not at fault. The way I see it, anyone coming up exceptionally fast, especially on a bike, already sees a way around (hopefully) and I don't move.

They NEVER learn. The way they describe this guy possibly passing the car on the right, I think of ALL the young guys on those Ninja bikes passing cars on the left....the the right....then the left....etc...etc... They are CLUELESS and put everyone else in danger.

Hey Chris,
People like you are the reason for two major things. A) Congestion B)Accidents such as these. The first is the most obvious. The left lane is the passing lane. Quite simply if your not in the process of passing you dont belong in the left lane. This allows faster moving traffic to pass easily and smoothly. Note on northern state that during moderate times of traffic the pattern is always the same. A cluster of traffic followed by open road. The reason is always the same. There are one or two people in the front of the cluster in the left lane doing exactly the same speed as the person in the right lane. Congestion would be releived immensly if people would simply pass and then get into the right lane. The second is to prevent accidents. You are aware that people want to go faster then you do and yet stay in the left lane? why not simply move over? Because of your stubborness you cause people to try to pass in anyway possible. Usually that way is not as safe as passing on the left..........The final reason to move yourself over to the right lane except passing???? ITS THE LAW.

The driver of the Honda may have been a teenager, too. When I first learned to drive, I was frightened by people who came up behind me really fast and would have tried to change lanes because I was afraid I'd be hit. It's almost instinctive to get out of the way. When I became more experienced I learned not to allow other drivers to chase me.

Ashley, maybe you shouldn't be checking out these comments. Your cousin was breaking the law and could have killed someone besides himself. That is a fact that can't be disputed. Sorry you are one of those left behind to mourn his loss but let's put the blame where it belongs and be grateful he didn't make someone else's family suffer the way yours will now.

Passing on the right...hmm ever read the back of trucks? SLOW DOWN people. Pat attention. Another senseless death by a speeding person not obeying the law. At least no one else died because of his actions. I feel sorry for the family who is left behind....

No, I'm tired of motorcyle morons doing wheelies on public roads and passing on the right. He is getting more "respect" than he deserves. At best he was going too fast.

Speeding motorcyclists who weave in and out of traffic, easily doing 80-100mph, riding the center lane, are an epidemic on the Northern State. They are a serious accident waiting to happen. Morons.

Rice burners are too fast for the street and should only be sold to seasoned motorcyclists who can handle their power!!
