Town leaders want to use resort tax revenues for other things

WEST YELLOWSTONE — The resort tax town leaders hoped would make West Yellowstone fiscally sound and keep property tax increases at bay has apparently not done so. Town leaders want citizens to approve a 20-year property tax increase to pay for projects they say they would rather not fund with resort tax money.
A public meeting on the proposed bond is set for 8 p. m. Thursday, November 2 a the Town Court, 220 Yellowstone Avenue.
