Foster man, 44, charged in assault on girlfriend

I find this amazing! This man was the contractor I hired 2 years ago now and boy did he take me for a ride! I am still fighting a lein placed on my home due to him having ordered all kinds of stuff, had it delivered to my home, and then did not pay for it! This was after I paid him! I have taken him through the contractors registration board, and the attorney generals office. After 2 years all he got was a fine of 3K and a suspended contracting license for a year! That's it. This is the second time in the last year and a half that he has been arrested for hitting a woman. I finally hope what comes around goes around and that George Shabenas of GES Construction finally gets what he deserves!

If you did any research you would know that my father was CLEARED of all charges, in the first arrest, after his girlfriend ADMITTED she lied. And someone else's problems are none of your business. I'm sorry my father wasn't fair when he worked for you but this is no way to talk about something you know nothing about. My father has a drinking problem yes, but as of now he has been sober for several months and is loving every moment of it. But your not god you have no right to judge other people based on there mistakes. Did you know that the news paper only prints the bad & not the good? Did they tell you that he is paying for all medical coverage & bills for his girlfriends son, who has Leukemia and Colon Cancer? Did they tell you that he is providing for not only me, but my son as well? Did they tell you that not only has he stopped drinking but he has also gotten a new bigger house for his kids, and is providing for two young boys that are not his??? If I have to take you to court for defamation of character I certainly will. But I have met your son and i don't believe this hateful spiteful negativity is something you would like to rub off on him. So I suggest you keep your words to yourself. It's is none of your business, and you nosiness disgusts me. Stop or I will personally stop you. That is not a threat, just a warning.

I am surprised that your father is paying for someone else's children - what about the bills he racked up in my name? What about the thousands of $$ I had to pay for the incomplete and shoddy work he did after I paid him?? So thats where my money went? You say you met my son??- I don't have one! So this story must have more players then just me! I know of at least one other person your father to advantage of as they were also attending a jury hearing against your father. I am sadden that he isn't stand up enough to compensate anyone he took advantage of and that his daughter has to defend him. No wories on sueingme - I plan on being there already - to make sure your old man feels the pains he has caused me for the last 3 years! I suggest you deal with your own issues and raise your son. let your father fight is own battles.

I have been given Mr. Shabenas's former phone number, and am constantly receiving phone calls from collection agencies looking for him, people looking for his girlfriend, doctor's offices trying to confirm appointments, you name it - I get it! I wish he would stop giving out his old phone number, or at least let people know that he has changed his number. I agree with Fed Up and JuJuBean - that Mr. Shabenas has some issues that need to be cleared up, first up - stop giving out my number!

I can see even though my nasty dealings with this man were several years ago, he hasn't changed. This man has caused much greif and apparently doesn't care much about others.

Mighty defensive aren't we Jodie? Bottom line is: IF your dad has done some people wrong, then he needs to do the right thing and reimburse these people that he owes money to, ESPECIALLY if he has the extra money to be spend on his girlfriends son, you & your son,a bigger house and 2 kids not his! He needs to STOP ENABLING EVERYONE and using that as an excuse.

I've read many versions of this article and i'd like everyone to know that alot of the things in it are wrong, plus whoever the hell is knocking on my dad just stop because he has completely turned his life around and also if you have something to say tell him don't comment becuase he'll never read it, i truly don't think you have to gut's to say it to my father's face.

I would love to say it to your father's face! Then maybe I could actually get my money from him!! Your father took advantage of many many people, stealing their money even though he knew it was wrong. I had a $10,000 lein put on my house after I paid your father $50,000! He took all of the money for himself and never paid his bill for the materials. So as it stands now, I would love to know where he is --- So I CAN tell him what an ass he is to his face AND finally have him served for this. Just let me know where he is and I will gladly!

Well - as we can see - no word where he is!! Hopefully people will realize how bogus he is when he uses and old Foster address but has a MA phone #. You can also see he has put NO worker's so he doesn't have to pay RI workmen's comp. Funny he had a whole crew working for him when he did my house. Hoping they notice he hasn't got insurance anymore either as it expired last September!!!!

i think your in denial i mean i no hes ya dad and i dont no them but i bet i can put money on it that she only lied when she said he "DIDNT" hit her, cus from the sounds of it he did, and its funny how theres always a "excuse" for what people do but idk why your on here your just gonna get dissapointed by the neg comments cus thats what we COMMENTERRRRS do lol (i aint frontin)

771 cook hill rd. ct.- But moving again. I wonder who else Mr. George Shabennas has screwed over again? Or maybe it was his GES Construction that screwed someone over again. This guy moves more than a little - probably trying to avoid being served court papers. This man is a complete waste of a human being and I wish him nothing good - he still OWES me 10K from the construction job he did that screwed me. He is pititful and I feel bad for anyone that is related to him. Hopefully he will stay the hell out of Foster - if he comes back he should be consistantly looking over his shoulder.....
