I was born In Bushwick Hospital 1950.. still have the book they gave your mom when you were born with all the sales of diapers that were about 25 cents each lol it was on Putman and Howard Ave.. i grew up on Bushwick Ave n Jefferson Ave.. my brain is not too too good after 6 yrs but i remember alot, i went to school on Bushwick ave madison ave and to JR HS on eldert st and to HS Franklin K lane

Greg.... wow ! 55 yrs ago ,,, you were there hahahaa...I was replying to Susan's Az. post saying , she thought Bushwick hospital closed in 1949...saying i was born there in 1950... I still have the birth certificate printed inside of the book they gave all moms when their child was born and I also have 3 beads from the 5 letters of my last name that they put on the childs wrist.. not like the plastic ones they use now... white beads with black letters... my mother lived to be 95 and found it in her belonging when she passed away... even drawing from my kindergarden class... I believe the hospital became a Nursing Home . i have no idea if the building still stands...a tuff neighborhood now .
