To those concerned about the economy and rising costs. I suggest you look into what our congress is doing. A bill is very close to being approved that would tax your health benefits as a form of compensation. Your employer would pay a share and you would pay a share in the form of a line item on your tax form. This is how the good ol Democrats plan to partially fund their health insurance bill. The employers that are doing the right thing are going to be punished for those who dont. I guess this is all part of spreading the wealth. You in a labor union? Good for you! Guess what? I bet you vote Democrat dont you. Well congratulations, the people that you elected are now going to be responsible for partially dismantling everything that people like John L Lewis fought for. I cant yell much, I voted Obama and primarily Democratic. While you are researching, look into Cap and Trade. If passed it will be the single largest financial blow to the average American that has ever taken place. Dem/Repub, to hell with them all, these people represent knowone but special interest

George Bush got all this shit brewing and it all got dumped on Obama. We never had any of the problems we are now when Clinton was in office. So whine about something else. Oh and before you say it, Clinton getting his c*ck sucked while he was in office had nothing to do with the way he ran this country.

No, Im not blaming anyone except US!!! We are being led down a primrose path. Labor fought HARD for health coverage for organized workers. People DIED. LABOR is still supprting the Democrat party....Wrong people! They are going to TAX you for your health insurance at your job! Are you friggin listening? George Bush..? WTH? WTH? wth does George Bush have to do with this bill? This is the problem with this country. Two effin clubs. Dem/Repub. Clinton? What did I say about Clinton? Yeh, he was a scumbag but the country was in great shape (primarily because home equity loans had become popular) But He was an awesome statesman. But, neither of these two has anything to do with the rotten thing that is happening to health care RIGHT NOW. NOTHING. I DARE YOU TO RESPOND INTELLIGENTLY.

NAFTA!! Clinton ushered in NAFTA....one of the worst trade agreements ever laid upon the USA! Clinton was, is, and always will be, a bad punchline to a cheap joke. It's just funny how Dems are so willing to go with popculture ideals and trends instead of the old tried and true CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!! Idiots.

My God...How true. NAFTA. The single biggest blow our economy has ever had to absorb. Why did we do it? The only thing comin out of Mexico was tortillas and donkey films. Well, now all of our power tools except those made in Germany, Much of GM and Chrysler,Whirlpool,Zenith,Gene ral Dynamics. DeWalt was borne of NAFTA. They bought out Black and Decker and took it all South. Thanks reminding me.

Do ya double dog dare me?!:) If your so upset then write to the president or something. HONESTY I can't respond to that so I am going to agree with everything you said EXCEPT the part about labor supporting the DEMS and them being the wrong party.....EXPLAIN. Other then that I agree with you %100. I DARE YOU TO RESPOND INTELLIGENTLY.

So NAFTA is the reason why we went after Iraq instead of the Afghans? Try again....you as a typical republican make no valid points about any type of discussion. You read someones comment and then disect to how you want it to sound and on top of that call someone an idiot? Real CLASSY typical......CLAP CLAP CLAP!

Uh, no. Im not sure what the correlation between the war effort (I too saw the Afghans as the problem all along) and the health package debacle have to do with one another. Maybe you could explain that. I totally agree with that statement however. Additionally, I voted for Obama. Neither party impresses me. However, I do see things from the Republican standpoint. Allowing the states to chose their own law, thats how it was supposed to be. Big labor has always supported the Democratic party. Its just a fact. Name one single candidate EVER, running for any office anywhere on the Republican ticket that was supported by labor. My point is/was that Labor supports these candidates. Then they run off to Washington and make policy damaging to labor (NAFTA) and taxing the health benefits that in many cases union employees are the only ones that still retain

"then disect how you want it to sound and call someone an idiot" At no point in any of that did I call you or anyone else an idiot, apparently it is YOU that has comprehension issues. I cant hold that against you, you live only 20 miles from Lawrenceville

More damaging than NAFTA was Clinton's repeal of part of the Glass-Steagall Act (Banking Act of 1933). This act forbade banks from investing in stocks and securities. With Clinton's repeal, banks were able to invest. With the crash of the market, many were unable to survive their losses and failed.

With the exception of NAFTA and Glass-Steagall, I believe Clinton was a successful POTUS and could give a rats ass that he had dalliances in the WH OR that he wasn't honest about it.

Im not going to battle you with these stupid back and forth comments. You obviously aren't as smart as you think that you are or else you wouldn't be telling me how to spell. Maybe Bush should have known as much as you and then we wouldn't have all of our troops in the wrong place.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Capricorn

Don't let anyone stand in the way of your progress and don't reveal personal secrets. You could very easily become run down at the moment. An empty promise could leave you feeling sad. If you're working today, there could be some problems: stick to your own work and make sure that someone doesn't try to take credit for your efforts.
