This proposal of a facility that will house criminals next to our long running family ranch in Zamora is absolutely ridiculous. My family has been farming in the Zamora Hills area for over four generations. To bring a so-called retention center for early-release prisoners is what I call a total lack of respect for the local ranchers and farmers that have kept this small. quaint community of Zamora the life blood of this area for over a hundred years. SHAME on you for not listening to the voices of the residents of this part of Yolo County. Each and every rancher and farmer have to contact the CHP to move livestock and equipment down these small rural roads as it is now. Just what do these so called leaders of this county plan to do about the influx of traffic that this project will bring??? What happens when the so-called thirty million dollars is dry and the state will not be able to support it?
