Another life lost to Ignorance. The HIGHWAY TERRORIST who brought this Death should get 15 / 25 years in Prison. But that wont happen, In America Homicide by D.W.I. is a socially accepted crime of violence.

White collar crime gets more prison time than one who slaughters on the roadways.

This man should spend the rest of his life locked up!! 3rd DUI--there is no excuse. He knew what his actions could cause! Its so horrible that a 19 year old boy had to lose his life due to a grown man! So sad. I feel for both families but he has to pay the price for his actions. This should of never of happened! How did this man even have a license to drive??

I am torn up about this. I did not know the victim or his family and I pray for them. But, the drunk driver who did this should spend the rest of his life in the state penetentiary because the streets are not safe with him on them. He is a danger to society and he should have to think about his actions every day for the rest of his life.

If memory serves me, 3 felonies and you go to prison mandatory. If nothing else, this would get him prison time. My heart goes out to the 19 year olds family and friends. Such a tragedy. If it gives them even one second of relief I hope the scumbag who did this goes away for life.

Having known Chris as a nice student at Jamestown. I have no sympathy for Mr. Burch. I believe he needs the death penalty and maybe some of these repeat offender D.U.I./D.W.I. will wake up!!!

I would like to admit that I have had two dui's. Not either time was I pulled over that I deserved it, but I took it as a lesson for all the other times I definitely should not have been behind the wheel. When I read about this and have been to Pauls Deli plenty of times where this guy worked, my heart went out to his family and friends. It could happen to any of us. Justice will be served, but our opinions really don't matter. I realized the danger I have put myself and others in and strive to let others know...it is not worth it. Take a cab! So situations like this can be avoided. Regardless of my history, I have learned from my mistakes and I'm very fortunate I've learned my lesson before I took someone's life. Those of you who want the death penalty so badly on this repeat offender are not thinking realistically. Would you rather him die and not have to suffer dealing with the emotions of what he has done (basically taking the easy way out) or us pay taxes to keep him in jail to suffer?
