Post his address, Seriously??? In this tragic situation there are two families that have been effected! The mother who got the phone call that a drunk driver had killed her son, and the wife and children that got the phone call that her husband and their father was that man!!! Both families lives now will never be the same! If you want to post an address, post the address of the jail because that's were he is, NOT the address where his wife and children live, and they did absolutely nothing to cause this!!!!

Are you serious? So I guess if the driver was using a gun instead of his car he would be more of a murderer? First time DUI might be a mistake but repeated offenses as well as the other things this guy was doing wrong proves that yes in this case he can rightfully be referred to as scumbag.

My heart goes out to the Mellis family, this has been a tragic situation to BOTH families. Matt isn't the monster he is being made out to be. If you don't know him then don't judge him. He is actually one heck of a family man, an awesome father and husband and the best friend anyone could have. He has to live the rest of his life knowing what he has done, it will be in his mind at all times. He'll wake up seeing it all over again, close his eyes every night seeing it and knowing the pain he has cause this innocent family.

This guy is a real piece of shit. Third DUI, what on earth is the court system doing. Obviously, not much to get drunk drivers off the road.

Let's not blame the courts or the police...they are bound by laws that are made in Richmond by our elected officials! The focus needs to be brought to their attention...and it needs to be sent there now before it's too late for someone else.

The arrested driver needs to be held accountable for his actions and both families will need to heal.

I don't think the driver is being judged so much as his actions.

This sounds like premeditated murder to me. Third offense for DUI and refusing blood/breath test, second offense for marijuana, and more. He knew what he was doing, he in advance intended to drive after getting drunk - murder!
dont believe was done intenionally. made a really bad choice.he isnt a murder.someone died yes but not intentionally from other comments heard. he has to live with that for the rest of his life. we really have some harsh crimes that people do intentionally kill to get what they want or for whatever but i dont believe this man is one of them.both familys will be affected by this. deepest sympathy goes out to the family for the 19 year old man

Getting behind the wheel of a car drunk is intent enough in my opinion. A man is judged by his actions and this man's actions, like knowingly operating a vehicle while intoxicated REPEATEDLY until someone died as a result of his irresponsible choices, say he is a murderer.

May we pray for the mans family who did this as well as the other family who was hurt! He has a wife and kids who did nothing wrong and are put in the middle of this! Two calls were made that night One to the mother who was told her son was killed by a drunk man and a wife and her children who were told that the man who did this was their husband and dad.

Mr. Burch may or may not be a monster...this is immaterial, what is material is he needs to man up, face the facts, accept responsibility for his actions and accept the consequences for those actions. To me this will be the first step in the healing process. Anything less will surely reflect a cowardness on his part.

Id just like to say that Matt is one of my best friends and he has always been there for me when needed!!! He is a wonderful man, great father, also a wonderful husband to his wife. I think that it is wrong for everyone to judge his actions without knowing the facts. Just because he was charged with all those things does not mean facts. The news can say whatever they want!!! They will say whatever to make him look as bad as they can.... again does not mean facts!!! I can promise if could do it all over he would. Do you really think he got in that car that night thinking im going to KILL A KID TONIGHT and never see my three kids or wife ever again!!!!! Thats f***ing crazy... everyone has drink and drove at one point of there life!! SO DONT JUDGE UNLESS u know him.. Some of the things people are saying is just crazy. Just think if this was your family. how would you feel. Put yourself in his shoes and try to take one step... or his family. To MATT we love u and stay strong! We are all missing u. love megan

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Aquarius

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
