This may help; he used to work for WIRK, a country radio station down there. I just want to know a little about him so I can make a good impression. Our company has been making a lot of changes and letting a lot of people go. I need this job, heck I love my job and want to keep it.

Did you ever get your answer? I knew Mitch. Great guy. I hope you have gotten to know him by now and that everything is OK with him. |

he is a great guy, always makes jokes, and they arent always funny, but humor him anyways. He is having a tough time right now so be patient with him, but yeah i know him very very very well, and i didnt know anybody else was leaving the station in florida to go up there, but just dont make him mad or do anything he says not to and youll be fine, hes pretty easy going

What happens if you make him mad? What did you mean by that? |

Wow.... he didn't tell us about this. I bet our boss Bobby does not know he has a mean streak. He would have never hired him. Maybe I should post on JOnesboro forum, I'm afraid if I tell them, he'll get ME fired instead of him! He's a jerk!

This was not accurate you cant believe everything you read. Mitch was my boss for many years and if you do your job he is great. He is the hardest working PD I know has great relationships and is very creative but you are wise to not get on his bad side however he has never been one to get people fired. |

WIRK radio personality to enter anger management, parenting classes

If this is not accurate than what is? Newspapers, blogers, radio trade magazines are all saying the same thing...which part is NOT true? Enlighten me. |

dont believe EVERYTHING you read. I hope you enjoy working with Mitch he is a great boss & leader you can learn allot from him but you have to open your mind. Im not sure what you do at the station maybe not much??? In that case I would be afraid of Mitch very afraid
better yet...why dont you ask Mitch yourself
But then the guys and I wouldn't have as much fun watching him squirm wondering who knows his story. He's the one not doing much at the station, ask him what HE does all day? Nuttin! |
well within the past few years he has had many rough patches, and for everything that has happened to him, and everything he has been through and all the things he has pushed through and accomplished, you should be proud to be working with that man.

I've known Mitch for close to twenty years. He's honest to a fault, hardest working PD in the business and has working relationships with most of the quality talent in the business. Mitch has had a tough couple of years - all related to his ex-wife's behavior choices that resulted in divorce.
He's a loving father and true gentleman. I'm honored to have him as a friend. |
