I knew this officer as a cop in Jupiter. I can tell you he was a good cop that helped me get off of my drug addiction, and kept in touch with me from time to time to see how I was doing. He went out of his way for everyone he helped. I lived in Jupiter all of my life until last year and I can tell you he was one of the best they had. I know there was alot of trouble within the department. I think he went to bat when others were too afraid to speak up. The officer Banister I knew would not have quit unless he was either finally disgusted with what was going on around him or to protect his fellow officers that helped him with the letter. Don't forget childcare costs in Palm Beach County are about $200 a week! How many can afford that on a cop's salary? If your reading this Officer Banister, I am still doing fine. Hang in there! So, you're stance is that I was either forced out of a department or I couldn't pass the entry exam. Interesting viewpoint. Actually, I do need to correct myself. Not ALL LEOs are corrupt. But, most of management is. Do you now feel better? P.S. I have 20 years,(nonLEO), in LE. I was probably forced out after I was exonerated by IA and PC in BSO's case clearing investigation. My boss, however, tried to pin everything on me and when that was not successful, he,(and his cronies), made working there a very unfavorable experience for me until I did resign. There were two camps: Fellow criminals who were loyal to him or employees who looked the other way. Supposed professionals. So, yes, I do know lots about law enforcement. |

Forgot to add:
My boss was under criminal investigation by BSO and State Attorney's Office. He was trying to deflect everything away from him and you know that old saying about what rolls downhill. I was on the bottom of the barrel in that unit. It was the end of my career and the beginning of not seeing things as rosy and idealistic as before. Ya live and learn. Right, Grasshopper? |

I heard this guy was a dead-beat dad too. Easy enough to find out. Sounds like a real loser. Glad he's not carrying a gun around in my neighborhood.

Oh the tangled web we weave with our twinkle toes. Didn't I see you on that Dateline deal about the internet?
Do us all a favor and quit wasting our tax money on your personal political agenda. Otherwise,I see you enjoying many happy miles doing the mall patrol on your Segway. |

John Banister has bad hair. For confirmation of this statement, look at this pic in the Palm Beach Post. It really makes you think if this is the kind of person you want patrolling the streets. If his hair is this bad, what does that say about him!

Hello, Sorry that happened to you at work. There are bad apples everywhere. Law enforcement is no exception.
BUT, most of the officers out there are there because they want to make a difference and you are definitely safer,(society), as the result. This officer should have done a lot of things differently. He should have not gotten involved in an anonymous letter of complaint to anyone higher up. There is a chain of command to follow. When he was put on administrative duty, he should have taken it and found babysitting for his child. That was the most lame excuse in the world. Aren't there two parents involved here? Finally, if he's a troublemaker, no agency is going to want him. |
J.P.G.- The biggest dead beat dad and loser that we know! |

Officer John Banister whistle blowing video.
God bless you John, I wish other officers were as admirable as you. Thanks for exposing the policies. It is not the police officers or the supervisors who deserve the brunt of the grief, It is the Mayor and other politicians who facilitate, condone and enforce this illegal behavior. How many of you know this guy personally? Well, I do! He is the biggest Ahole I have ever met. This dude has major issues. I just hope and pray that he got/gets what he deserves. There is a GOD and that is a wonderful think: He makes real justice… All I have to say to John is…“What goes around… comes around!”

The Jupiter Police Department is crooked, and the Town is turning downhill fast. The mayor is weird so it figures the rest of the place is getting weird. Abacoa family friendly, the Mayor votes against a gym?? I guess it's better to have puking adults walking around. Great idea to close the movie theater, that was AWFUL. BRING THE THEATER BACK. As far as Officer Banister, YOU GO DUDE!! We need HONEST COPS, and now look, they got you off the force. Get a web page, you would have 3/4 of Jupiter behind you! Our elected officials get elected, then follow their own agendas. We the average residents are getting ANGRY

The Paulding County Georgia Sheriff Office is another agency that makes false arrests and has deputies/officers commit perjury on reports and arrest warrants and affidavits. One such deputy is Deputy Marc Rusterucci of 174 Beckman Court in the Ivy Springs subdivision north of Dallas, Ga in Paulding County. The entire government and justice system of Paulding County Georgia is corrupt. One can only hope this election year can turn things around....but them eveyone running just about is a "good ole boy" aka - ignorant red neck....

If you feel that this Deputy violated/performed a violation of law, please, enjoy your date in court. Obviously, you were arrested for a reason.
