Yes, and there sure are plenty of crashes that's for sure. It wouldn't be so bad if that was ALL that was wrong with auto vehicles. But unfortunately there are a myriad of other huge problems also. We (taxpayers and consumers) are literally paying out BILLIONS of dollars for the infratructure (roads, lighting, signs, bridges, traffic jams, maintenance, traffic law enforcement, road rangers, parking facilities, junk yards, etc., etc., etc.) for the auto vehicles to get around. And our heavy dependence on foreign oil is absolutely devastating us as a nation. Our insurance business "landscape" for our auto vehicles is going to change dramatically, possibly as soon as Oct.1. All of these very serious types of problems such as the number and frequency of these tragic crashes you will not hear much about from the auto industry, AAA (American Automobile Associaton), the travel and tourist industry, the oil companies, the FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation), etc., etc., etc.
