Suspect arrested in theft of credit cards at Wal-Mart

The woman's touch was so light and fast she could have been a magician. At least that's what Elaine Sabra, a former magician herself, thinks.

Time to carry your purse closer to your chest and take only the cards you will be using. Heck we shouldn't even be carrying purses any more. Time to start being extra cautious.

Good one. Faking a heart attack to distract people enough to steal their credit cards - brilliant! Now people will be afraid to help those that need it when they REALLY have a heart attack.

They bought gift cards with the stole creditcards?

How stupid is that, the gift card can be turned off by the stores.

The stores contribute to this problem. they don't ask for photo ID when one makes a purchase. the credit card companies should request a photo for the credit card as well.

I agree, But you have to do a public hanging for it to be a deterrent. At the least, if they get caught and convicted of picking someones pocket, chop their hand off.

A thumbprint would be more effective. Photo IDs can be to easily doctored.

Wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity for the SS to print photos of this gang?

Letting us know what they look like might prevent one more person from being victimized when they are released. I have no doubt these career criminals will continue doing what they DO BEST - steal.

Think of the irony in this story-people who shop wal-mart because they can't afford or are too cheap to shop in good stores are preyed upon by even cheaper crooks who are too stupid to rob banks.

With all the tax dollars being saved by Walmart, you think they would have better security to protect the customers? No they hire greeters-lol

Welcome to Walmart get taken by us and local hoods-lol

The BLACK bank robbers in Philly that killed the police officer with an assault rifle were dressed as Muslims! No one dares speak out against the Muslims so expect that to be the next disguise in the stores. By the way, the world time standard is being changed to Mean Mecca Time as they have just about taken over the United Kingdom.

These women are such cowards and pathtic scum, they have to steal from the elderly.

It is no wonder they targeted women over 80, it was easy pray then someone 30-40's..

All 3 of you are really pathtic and I hope for years the only outside world you get to see, is at a rec yard at a state prision.

There are women there that would dispise you picking on the elderly, and make your lifes a living hell..

Let's see how big and bad you are , when a women with life has nothing to loose and kicks your ASZZES.

You three are poor excuses for humane beings, I hope have many years locked up to think about how cold and heartless you are.

Why do these retailers sell gift cards in bulk to anybody who walks in off the street? I would find it suspicious if somebody wanted to buy $1000 in gift cards on a personal credit card. A legitimate business would not be using a personal credit card to make the purchase. And then the store employee never verified the ID of the purchaser? Sounds like they are in on it. Shouldn't the retailer be able to shut off the card numbers purchased fraudulently before the thief can profit?

WIth the scanners for cards at so many checkouts, cashiers often don't even see the cards people use.
Gas station pumps ask only for the billing zip code if they ask for anything. It used to be that you could put "SEE ID" on the strip where you sign your name to make your card more secure. You'd be amazed how many cashiers never even checked the signature on the card.
