West Palm Beach: 8-year-old left alone with robbers after paren...

Let's not judge too quickly... Nobody knows what or how things happened.

Please explain the whole story correctly they went outside the house they did not get in a car and left.

We know they were seen both during the robbery and the night before, but we do not know what color they were. Only that they had black t shirts.

How do you not go to the child's room to get them first, I do not care if there is a fire GET to the kid and then you leave,

I agree to not judge too quickly, however I have never heard of a parent abandoning one of their children when in danger. Even animals protect their children. Look at tiny birds that attack you who are 100 times their size, dogs, lions, bears, on and on and on. I......would die for my children, regardless the circumstance. It is a natural instinct. Not something that you even have to think about. This is weird, sorry.

Good thing the SS is so politically correct about the description of the robbers! Told us all about their clothes and damn near the model#'s of the weapons, but no mention of skintone

When confronted with something like that, no one really knows how they will react until placed in that situation. It's called fight or flight. The problem is they took flight without taking their kid.

One more thing. Nine out of ten home invasions involve either drugs, drug money, or guns. I wonder if this was one of those.

When this is all said and done......this was a dope rip!!!

No, they didn't "left", but they abandoned their child who was in danger to save their own scrawney A$$ES. I'm sure they will laugh in 20 yrs when they tell the story to this child when he is grown up. As far as the color of their skin, I have no doubts they are NOT white Americans.

Hard to believe, but I wasn't there. Playing devil's advocate, suppose the mother went to the child's room, picked him, and as they were fleeing the house together, the child gets blasted by the shotgun and has his guts blown all of the wall. Regardless of the parents' actions, at least the child wasn't injured or killed.

I'm surprised with this poll. We were not there, and as sad as it seems if they stayed they might have all died. The robbers are less likely to kill a small child as they are someone who can have the potential of killing or maiming them or ID them to authorities.

Somewhere along the line modern American's have forgotten about survival of the fittest.

Now why the robbers were not just shot and killed while in the home is what I wonder. But maybe they were anti-gun or felons and could not have a firearm. I ave no idea.

Still sad that people would break into a home looking to kill and steal. Sad the child had to be left behind.
