If you want to stack up the methods used to kill spouses in domestic violence cases, you'll find that guns are used less often than blunt objects, knives, and fists. So you can argue that Tallahassee should take the guns away from the Florida nuts (I see you just can't resist the ad hominem attacks), but what will you implore Tallahassee to do about the rest of the domestic killings -- the ~vast majority~ of them? See, your agenda is not against killing, it's against GUN OWNERSHIP. You couldn't give a damn less about people getting killed. You just don't want us to be able to have guns.

You want my sympathy? Fine. I'm sorry she was the victim of murder. She doesn't appear to have been a bad person, a mean person, a violent person, or a criminal. I still question and condemn her judgment for being a friend to a felon like Wade. Sooner or later, if you have a friend who follows an evil, corrupt path, you have to let that person go, or they will take you down with them -- and that's exactly what seems to have happened here. So her fatal flaw was being willing to be a friend to someone who didn't deserve to have good friends. WADE deserved to die, but maybe I guess Connie did not. Still... lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas. I would lower my intelligence level to reflect your ingnorance; but I realize your comments don't matter to me. Also, Keith wouldn't have given a damn about you either so I just laugh. It's amazing how these blogs give cowards a voice you otherwise would not have. It's easy to throw stones under the cloak of anonymity. Hell you aren't even man enough to use your real name. But, at the end of the day, whatever you write about my cousin, believe me you could never hurt my feelings because you mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ME. Oh thanks again for the commment it made me LAUGH!!!!!

Christy, It might be a good idea to quit while you're behind. I think it is obvious by the reactions on this forum that you will not find empathy from others in the S FL community for the loss of a foul individual such as your cousin. People here are fed up with having to live in fear not only for themselves but for their children and loved ones. Your cousin was a component in creating this fear. And before you go and blame the media please read through the FBI crime statistics for the area. The facts often tell the truth much better than any reporter can. It is beyond me how someone can try to defend any illegal action with 'you don't know what it's like to grow up in the hood'. I have many underpriviliged friends of all races (black included) who grew up in poverty but worked hard and stayed straight and became very successful. People who are lazy and/or stupid and want it all break the law and to get it. My guess is your cousin fell into this category. You should do yourself a favor and stop posting. Have some dignity and be thankful the world has one less thug making life miserable for the law abiding citizens of this community. Honestly, these posts are hilarious because it amazes me that so many people can pass judgment before all the facts are in. In case all the "wanna-be" detectives and judges of human character have not concluded, the murder is still on the run. So, unless you know something about the case (as I stated earlier) that has not been contributed by media you are dealing with your opinion concerning the case and not facts. So, if you feel my cousin deserved to die, that again is your opinion. At the end of day, I truly could care less what you think because bottom-line intelligence is derived from facts and ignorance is derived from assumptions. Finally, opinions derived from the comments posted on this blog, statiscally do not represent a large enough sample of the general population to derive that overall the entire population believes that all "thugs" should be murdered. Again, thanks for the comments about my cousin because at end of the day his murder and others like his will not dissolve or make disappear what is happening there. If someone can shoot two unarmed people and is still running loose....South Florida does have problems that are far greater than my "thug" cousin.

Christy, I believe the name Bellicose originates in Italy, hence "Mr. Bellicose's" dislike for African-Americans. Or as some of the Italians that I encountered in Venice, Rome and Florence called me, "moolian"(?!?!). Their version of the "n" word. Check out the definiton for the latter part of his screenname... According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, the word bellicose is defined as:
Pronunciation:\ˈbe-li -ˌkōs\ Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English, from Latin bellicosus, from bellicus of war, from bellum war Date: 15th century : favoring or inclined to start quarrels or wars
Also, belligerent. So you see, Christy, he cannot help himself. He is naturally and historically inclined to believe that he has the indignant right to spew the mean-spirited garbage that he is obviously getting a kick out of and start quarrels..... Look at the number of times he's posted. Take the high road and do not give him anymore of what he so desperately is craving...

Mya,
I feel you...I won't respond anymore...because at the end of the day...this doesnot matter anyway...I usually like to say what I have to say "face to face"...not through a Web blog...but again that's not important...I'm too old to play this immature verbal game...Mya take it easy and I send condolences to yourself and Connie's family...
God Bless

Doesn't change the fact that we shouldn't be expected to express sympathy for the loss of your cousin, who was a low criminal. That IS a FACT, Christy. Or do you dispute it? Do you dispute that the FACTS show that your cousin WAS a CRIMINAL? The only debate here seems to be about whether he deserved to die. I think that he probably did. I'll bet he harmed plenty of people and lived a sociopathic type of life to get what he wanted even when he was not entitled to take it. By the way, it's "I couldn't care less," not "I could care less." Think about it. If you don't care, and your caring level is at Zero, you "could not care less" than you currently care.

People love to down others especially when they have no clue about them. The papers always tell the bad side about an individual but never the good side. Let the record be told Keith Wade did go to college and was VERY damn educated, just because he hung in the streets with friends doesnt make him a bad person. Hell half the people in this world have hung in the streets or done some stupid things in our lives but who the hell give us the right to judge each other. NOW if you dont know HIM (Keith) then leave your comments in your head and not on the internet. R.I.P. Keith Wade Im Going to Always Love You!

Its people like you that makes me sick....how in the hell would you feel if i get on here and bad mouth your add without even knowing a damn thing about you. Now like Ghristy said FROM EXPERIENCE of knowing KEITH WADE he was a kind hearted person and i loved him for that and there is nothing in this a person like you can say because you didnt even know. But i do believe if he was alive would you say that shit to his face......lol hell no! Now may your soul burn in hell and while you at it say hello to your kids! LMAO at assholes like you. Rinaldo Cartaya wrote: I firmly believe in loyalty to your family, but again, there is a fine line. Instead of defending him after the fact you should have been a good family member and helped him away from him errant lifestyle. Maybe if you were a better cousin you could have helped prevent his death. This article is well researched and very factual. The sensationalism is kept to a minimum because, quite frankly, the story speaks for itself. If there is a Hell, certainly people like your cousin are burning there as we speak. Your soul will burn too good christian for not helping him. <quoted text>

First and foremost, I never asked anyone on this blog to symphathize with myself or our family. Second of all, in the sentence referenced in your rebuttal, double negatives are not necessary for use within a sentence. Third my cousin WAS NOT a sociopath...before you describe him as such, look up the meaning....Finally for all of the people that did know my cousin...thanks for writing because we all knew Keith Wade....so the opinions of LOSERS...who have NOTHING better to do than discredit a complete STRANGER..again just makes me laugh...

All you seem to be doing is arguing for me to not call them what they are -- for what purpose, I don't know. Why should I curtail calling stupid people stupid people? To spare their feelings? I don't have any interest in sparing their feelings; my interest is in clearing the air in the debate by posting truths and dispelling lies. In the course of that, I am obligated to show where the stupidity lies, and by whom it is put forward. Fine, it works both ways. Your NEED to have a gun is stupid to the rest of us and indicates, to us, an extreme insecurity.

I think of it as preparedness -- a preparedness that you, without a gun, lack every day you walk out the door. Are you a pansy or fraidycat because you wear your seatbelt when you drive, in case there's an accident? (Perhaps I'm giving you too much credit, and you're too dumb to wear your seatbelt.)

You pretend that Keith Wade "hung in the streets with" bad people but it didn't make him a bad person -- ignoring the FACT that Mr. Wade HIMSELF COMMITTED CRIMES AND WAS A FELON. He WAS a bad person -- as defined by the LAW. As defined by the mainstream of SOCIETY. You can hem and haw all you want, but it is a FACT that Wade was a criminal and a bad person. Chances are that someone he had wronged (maybe a rival drug dealer) caught up with him.

The correct use of the phrase, when you intend to convey that you don't care, is "I couldn't care less." It's not a "double negative." It's a plain-old idiom. And you don't know how to use it properly; and you get sore when someone points it out.

Can't make up your mind about a seatbelt? If you're THAT indecisive, then you shouldn't be allowed out alone, never mind allowed to carry a deadly weapon. Unfortunately there's no law against idiots and morons carrying guns, right? After all, you never know when those pesky Redcoats will come marching down your street.
