She needs to be put in jail for life, death would be too easy for her. I cannot believe how an emotional woman that should adorn kids would pull a knife and stab a 6 yr. old; only because she is upset with his father, boy, talk about fatal attraction.

Someone should have stabbed her to death AND slit her throat so we could have saved all the expense of a trial, her sitting on death row for years, etc.

Tragic case. When you injure children you lose all. Shes gotta be nuts. Rest of her life in prison or gettin the needle...what a choice. Her peers in the big house are gonna mess with her bad as child abusers are hated.

I do not agree with you if I catch my (HUSBAND) cheating trust me when I tell you this he azz would be out the door. Y n the hell would I jeopardize my freedom by killing his azz or any of his family/friends. Sorry no person on earth is worth me killing for not unless they r trying to do harm to me or my kids.

Doesn't the title say Woman "Convicted" nowhere in the article does it say she has been convicted, the jury is deliberating is what the last part said.

First of all he was not cheating. They had broken up and she had moved out. She was upset that night when she found out that he went out on a date. Second, how can you blame what these 2 pieces of s*** did on John? How many people get "cheated" on everyday and they don't go kill an innocent woman and brutally attack a 6 year old. You sound a little scorned. There is NEVER an excuse for murder, especially in this case.

If you are going to start throwing out commandments that need to be obeyed..how about THOU SHALL NOT KILL. The funny/sad part of this story is that she killed her ex's mother and injured his child, but he and his beloved child are still alive and that is his best revenge, while she will either spend the rest of her life in jail or get the death penalty. So was it worth it. The best revenge is living well. She should have moved on with her life and found something better. Hate takes up so much energy that could be expended on bettering yourself.

I agree with AMLT. There is nothing that could happen that would justify killing someone's family over. Just because someone does something rotten to you, is it worth risking your life for revenge? I don't think so.

Sex, Rape, and Murder is eligible for the death penalty, I think it is time that all people will be eligible for the death sentence, it is not based on gender anymore.

I was a potential juror.....money??? the case may had caused, but didn't pay me but $15., compared to $300. I could had made......at my job (so the hell with your $$$ defense). I lost 3 days work, woke up before the crack of dawn to serve my duty and wasn't choosen out of 80 folks (thank God)...yes, I would have given her 1st degree charges and YES-I would sentenced her to DEATH!@!!!!
