I have spent some time in that jail and I was also innocent. I have contacted the FBI and numerous other agencies concerning that jail to no avail.I even know officers who have worked there who quit because they were astonished at the poor conditions and the lack of proper safety protocols as well as a huge lack of respect among the personnel employed there for each other as well as for the inmates. Regardless of the guilt of the people who are retained within this facility they are still innocent until proven guilty & even the guilty have rights that shouldn't be trampled upon by the small minded,money hungry ,power crazed people who permit this county jail to be run in such a way. They take inmates to solitary cells & beat them when they cross the wrong person..... This jail permits those incarcerated who are influential or of a certain race to have greater privileges.....This jail constantly is understaffed at times to the point where many safety regulations are ignored putting jailers at risk. There needs to be more complaints about this jail made to the proper agencies as well as those who are more influential making the poor conditions of this jail more publicized. It would be nice if instead of using drugs & calling for more drugs these guys who are having drugs & cell phones brought to them would wise up & record the horrible conditions of this jail & post it online. Hint Hint. All of you who are so against anything being done about this jail are either local law enforcement or just born & raised here without any world learning. If you would do some research you will find that conditions of a jail has no bearing on crime. This county doesn't want the jail to be noticed because they are racking in the money by staying under budget but they can't keep any officers due there stinginess on there pay. Okay I vented enough. And yes I copied and pasted my post from the previous post about this jail because that convo had become corrupted by ignorance in which I'm sure this post will as well.
