Yes and I believe the authorities were called about it. That was pretty low and nasty whoever did it.

I'm glad it was shut down. It was wrong for those kids to post such horrible things. It's one thing to make a general statement...but to name names was WAY out of line.

I hope the families involved are pursuing civil actions against the kids responsible. I know I would if someone were attacking my children.

it was shut down....and to the idiots who posted it...you might want to know that the police were notifed AND an attorney was called as well. good luck to you.....slander is pretty serious stuff.

Are you so worried about it because it was YOU who started the thread in the first place? Somebody with a Bellefontaine isp. has sure been starting a lot of sh*t lately. Calling someone a "ho" on a message board is in no way slander or libel. I'm sure it pissed off the people involved but getting it removed is about as far as they can go.

Slander is the spoken word and Libel is the written word. I believe that neither applied here, but it was awful none-the-less. Please let it drop or it will get fired up again and I am too cheap to spend another $20 to keep you all from hurting each other's feelings.

It may not be slander but it is internet bullying. And that is a crime not just a civil offence.
