The Op was referring to the BCS levy that was on the ballot in November. BCS said they were getting money to cover 61% of the cost for two new buildings from the tobacco settlement. That money is still being tied up in court! The link to the article in post #1 clearly shows that.

BCS lied to the taxpayers in order to get the "yes" vote! And I said Go Figure!

And yeah I knew the money was still tied up, It did get overruled and is now just waiting a signature to be released, the courts made there ruling that funds need to go out.

Actually you run for local office to serve your community. Many people would rather just bitch about things than try to make a difference. Some people will not run for office because they are afraid they will not get enough votes to win or they will have to actually have their voting records public. So it really is easier to just bitch. Local office is a lot of work and the pay sucks. Kinda like coaching, you don't do it for the money.

It got overruled as long as it doesn't go to the Ohio Supreme Court! But the point is that BCS prematurely said that they were getting the money! The Supreme Court could say no the money doesn't go to the state to use for the schools! So what then? We have a levy that was passed due to bogus conditions. The taxpayers are going to get it without a kiss and cigarette!
