Can someone tell me some facts on Lemont Furnace? My son lives on Rosy Hill Ave. What part of town is it and is it a nice section? What's the population of the city? Please some general information would really be appreciated. We're not able to travel to see him and would very much like to know about your city. Thanks

When my son lived in Connellsville the people were so helpful. What happened to Lemont people?
|

I truely hope you have recived an answer before this. Rosey Hill is a lovely area with very nice people.It is about two blocks up from my house. At the foot of Rosey Hill is a nice family run store. I know some of the people myself. They are freindly and are always ready to help someone. I hope you get down to see the area, we are close to the Shadygrove pool on this side and to the Industrial Park Site on the other side. The Dunbar Township begins at the foot of Rosy hill. I hope you don't judge the area due to the lack of responce to your question as I just found it myself, and I am on the net as much or more than most around here. Again I hope you have had an answer be fore this! |

Amber..Thank you so much for posting. My Son has lived at Rosy Hill for about a year now. He is with Fayette resources. We have yet to visit the area, but I have wondered about it. When he lived in Connellsville the forum was so helpful and caring. We are up in New Castle and it is a difficult trip for us to make but maybe someday soon we will. He is driven home every other weekend and for that we are so grateful. Thank you for posting Amber, and God Bless You.

Hi there. Lemont furnace is a very small area on the outskirts of Uniontown. It's at the foot of the mountains. The mountains that surround Uniontown are beautiful and offer a lot of wonderful sites and recreation. If you want to really get a feel for where your son is living you need to check out what Uniontown is all about, as it is really the city. Lemont furnace is just a small area with nothing really but homes. Check out www.uniontownonline.com . I grew up in Uniontown, and it's a nice little town, however there's really not many job's. I still enjoy going back to visit as my mother and father still reside there.

Greg--Just checked in to see if anyone posted. Thank you so much for the website. I viewed some of the pics and they are great. I will be on it this afternoon. I didn't realize Lemont Furnace was small and in between. Surrounded by mountains which have activities look great. Again Thank you and Amber for restoring my faith. Uniontown does have kind people as shown by You and Her. I feel better now. Bless You!!

Greg..Thank you for your response and the great website. I have been enjoying it this afternoon and plan to get back on it. I put it in my favorites, I didn't realize that it was a small place. Thank you again. You and Amber restored my faith. Maybe I won't worry as much now. I posted a few times to thank you but I don't know what happened...so if you get more of my posts that will just be more thanks!!

Hello Amber...My Husband and I finally visited Bills' place in Lemont Furnace on Rosey Hill. We found it to be a nice quiet little place. My Son drove us down and we visited the area. We went out for dinner and really had an enjoyable visit. Bill was so happy that we were able to finally come down and needless to say we are so happy to be able to. Just wanted you to know.

Hello...Just wanted to chat with anyone who lives close to Rosey Hill in Lemont Furnace. We plan to visit my Son Bill again this summer as we did last November. I'm really excited about it and just hope we can make it. Is there anything new there?

Hi, Just want to check to see if anyone cares to respond to my posts. If anyone has anything to say about Lemont furnace please post. Was there a fire close by the other day? My son heard a lot of fire trucks. Also there was a drowning at Ohiopyle. He is taken there by the staff and I was wondering how safe it is?

Fayette Resources!!! They've knowingly hired people who've been jailed for violent crimes and then "let them go" when they ended up deliberatly breaking clients arms, faces, burning them with ciggarettes, ect...The workers there refer to themselves as "Tard Guards" brag about who and how they've mistreated them, and constantly verbally abuse the people whos lives they are supposed to be making comfortable and better. Instead of properly restraining them they put them in choke holds and slam them off of walls. If you are a worker there and commit or report any type of abuse they just move you to another house and/or fire you. From what I've heard from the people who work there every house in that company is like that. It appears to be run well but is a terrible place; prisoners in the county pen get better treatment. If you love your son get him out of there!
|
||||
|
Oh, they also bribe clients with their favorite snack or activity not to say anything about the goings on in the house so don't be fooled if your son isn't talking.

Bar tender, you must be one of the few youngstown hotel ones because bugsy does his bartending himself or from the sportsamns club! Lemont is a teeny tiny town, so you arent getting a lot of replies because not many people live here! Rosy Hill is on the next street down from me. Im on Mt braddock Rd. It's a nice area, and nothing of significance happens around here...IF we need something at the store we go to Uniontown or Connellsville. Not much else to say about it.
