Former Teacher's Aide Accused of Student Sexual Abuse - KSTU

To West Jorden Police: a "relationship" happens between consenting adults; not with a 31 y.o. teachers aide and a 12-15 year old student who was in need of some attention from a trusted adult. In my eyes this is an assult that will change the life of the victim in ways we may never know and the sad part is I am sure the West Jordan legal department will look at this much like the prosecutors in the Davis county assults (the boys came on to the teachers and the teachers just could'nt hurt the boys feelings by saying NO and notifing the parents and school offials).

I think the students should be charged also they know that what was going on was wrong but they went ahead with it any way 2008 to 2009 they should have reported her on day one .Andrea Billingsly is for sure wrong in this act but the boys are not angels.
This is not just a one way street were we should say poor boys she did not force them to meet with her they broke the law by going ahead with the sexual relationship

Sorry Mr. Smith I couldn't disagree with you more! These boys are chlidren! and as such are, incapable of making responsible decsions and should in no way be held acountable for the grooming that took place. Andrea Billingsly, to me, is the same kind of (male) predator that stalks little girls. Of course the children should have told an adult in their lives but the fact they didn't shows Ms. Billingsly choose the right children to groom for sex. When referring to adults sexualizing children it most certainly is a one way street. Don't you think it's sad the children had no one in their life they felt they could trust? I only hope the West Jordan prosecutor doesn't wimp out.
