Are they still looking for the person(s) who murdered Mary Anne Kacin?

Please comment if you know anything about this mystery. She was found semi-hung in McBride Park, but where was she before that dreary day, Oct. 4, 2008? Her hair and clothing were clean but she had been missing for 12 days. Her body was barely stiff. Where were the flys? Help put the pieces of the puzzle together.

I know several folks that really are "ugly, horrible ( can NOT say people ) animals, really.Have heard all the stories, I was not there,So based on that, the info I have is just a story...Is it true ? Don't know. I am sorry for your loss Mary Anne was someone close to your heart for you to still think about this ugly crime one year later. Take care, Wish I could have been more help.

Thank you for your comment, but will any of the stories you heard help? Maybe I've heard them too and your version just may put some of the pieces of the puzzle together.

I know they are in a great deal of pain and do not need to here all those stories on this thread. Wish I could HELP somehow, someway...??? Years & years ago I use to live in Lincoln Place, like I said I still know some animals from that area & still have family that live real close to McBride Park...When I was a young child I use to play there.

That is chilling! When you say 'without hurting the family,' are you indicating someone in the 'family' is involved??? I too wish I could say more right now, but this is not the time or place. I'm going out of town for a few days. Please keep posting your comments.

If you do not want to say anything on this forum, then maybe you should speak to the police.. and get this resolved for the family..

You are right, I'm not going to disagree. I would go to the police if I thought it would do any good...The animal I BELIEVE did this was questioned and released, Is he innocent? I don't think so but I can't PROVE it....Like I said I was not there that night, can NOT put him there but I know some crazy ass people who told me the story...If I thought I had any info that the police did not know I would help in a heartbeat

.....I don't think you ever find PEACE ever when the animals are convicted and have since been killed in a jailhouse stabbing as in my case.

I also heard that a guy named "Hank" was there that night. Is that who you are talking about? I know that he was questioned, but that doesn't elimate him. Other people are suspects also, including close family members, know them? People from Ravine Street are also talking about the incident and that they know something, know them? Murder is Murder, and justice will prevail!!!!

Please share your stories. It's been very rough since she has been gone. She was such a wonderful person who is so deeply missed. I'm sorry to hear that you've been through the same nightmare. Society is so cruel!

I am so sorry to hear of your personal story and hope that time will heal your wounds. It's amazing how many people like us are out there looking for Peace. I cannot go to the Munhall Police or County Detectives. County dropped the ball on this when SHE was found. They are the ones saying it was a suicide, not the Medical Examiner. There is too much evidence to prove it wasn't a sucide. Do you agree?

How about setting up an AWARD for information leading to a conviction? Would we be able to gather reliable information and then take that to the police?

Has anyone seen the bicyclist? Why is he not around anymore. Is he afraid that he'll say something so planned a long trip to get away from questions and reporters?

How can I get more people to visit this blog? Those that are writing, please share this blog with people who knew Mary Anne. I look at her picture in my office and get chills and tears. I don't live in the Burg anymore so it is so hard for me to reach out and find the answers; that is why I am writing in hopes that someone knows something. Even if it's not confirmed, if you trust the person telling you something about that night, please share it. If you rather be private about it,let me know. We can arrange to talk via the phone.

Hi,just got back from a road trip myself...I was thinking about Mary Anne & about my brother ( who was MURDERED ) and my son who died in a accident 5yrs ago and I just needed to get away for awhile. I ended up taking a trip to a place called "the LOST VALLEY " in Arkansas....Truely a beautiful area, with caves and several waterfalls the largest about 180/200 ft. tall...just got back.
The folks I know, I do trust but they are not really playing on the right side of the law if you know what I mean. People talk...Fools Talk. The People I know still live in the area and sell stamps,20s,30s...I KNOW they are not going to go running to the police anytime soon to say ANYTHING!
But they get together and they talk to each other & lets just say it is NOT about what the preacher was talking about last Sunday. I will tell you this... it was not suicide!!! IT WAS MURDER!!! And there was more than ONE person there when this happened. Can I Prove it ? SADLY NO, but I wish I could help you.I also no longer live in the area but visit 2 or 3 times a year and talk to the folks every other day...Is it a concern of theirs ?.... NOPE, THEY KNOW SOMEONE GOT AWAY WITH MURDER !!!!

Good Morning, I have to go to court today because I was then & am doing today, the right thing...Not always the most pleasant thing to do...(Unrelated to this MURDER)....The right thing,is seldom the easiest thing to do. Praying for strength. Hope you also find the answers you need & peace.

I am family and I want to know who murdered Maryanne. You can't say anything more to hurt the family. We have our own suspecions. If you know something then tell me, I can handle it!

I need to know if we can eliminate everyone in the family as suspects. I feel so guilty with some of the thoughts I have. Also, was Mary Anne's son involved with a drug dealer who visited her before she disappeared?
