I strongly agreed with Mr. American Man's statement but not his last comment about Mexicans' professions. I am a Chinese American and strongly believe that English must be and not should be the primary language in the United States. I was the first group of students started in ESL in Los Angeles Chinatown school in the 1971. Back then, they taught ESL with English language. This is very important factor because this is the only way people can learn. In today's schooling that teachers are teaching ESL with Spanish is a waste of time. This is and will be a major problem with kids in the future. They will be locked in their poverty zone and will not able to seek higher education. My advise to ESL student; get out of your comfort zone and learn English.

when most of the Illegal mexicans go back to mexico. because they cannot be hired under the E - verify law coming into place soon across the country. most of the substandard jobs will fall by the wayside . The substandard paying jobs will have to pay more as the pool of uneducated mexicans are no longer available! Are teenagers will get their jobs back in the fast food market and start learning the satisfaction of earning their own money instead of relying on mom and dad. then our own high school dropouts ,which are still smarter than any uneducated or educated mexican will start to take their place. Our unemployment rate will drop . the substandard jobs will end up paying a living low income wage. there will be less crime and disease brought into the United States of America by the illegal mexicans. migrant workers will be allowed to come back into the country in a controlled fashion to do the fruit and vegetable picking they are qualified for! this is a Win-Win situation for everyone in United States and mexico .
