Any one with experience as a Mother/Father in This judge's court?
Studying decisions of a few Family court Judges. The Family court decisions need to be challanged in case of a few judges. And, yes, anyone with Judge Julienne Eiseman's court? |

1 Have been to Nassau family Court several times, and luckily been safe so far as a "Battered" Husband. Reason I say Battered is because 1) I am 2) Wife always threatened an OP whenebver I asked her directly for a Divorce. She got the Police to the house on numerous occasions asking me to be evicted, and failure after failure made her get a 3rd OP recently. When I went to a Male Judge recently, with facts/evidences, he was quick to deny an OP. Lost all faith in Family Courts, and hopefully will seek a Concurrent/Referral Jurisdiction in Supreme court, where I have seen Judges do a much better job. Men are treated like un wanted Cattle in Nassau Family court. I will even explore digging cases of the recent past, and open up a whole new case under article 78, for re trial of cases with persons similarly situated as myself. Anyone else, with a arbitary/biased verdict from Nassau Family court, please write in details |

Unfortunately, Most Family Judges are the same..MORONS and some Super Morons !! I have tasted it first hand as a Husband. AM sure Wife/s may say the same, but the wrong place for a husband to be dragged.. |

Yes Indeed...I have been before your honrable Eiseman about twenty times !!!! My synopsis is that she is a fair person and looks at the entire picture rather than just whats in the complaint.....however if you have a case in the supreme court in nassau ( divorce pending) you may want to keep all your business there.....because in the end the supreme court will just call her and change every you worked for in family court.......shes fair and just...just make sure you have all your info intact and witnesses if you have them.... Norman St. George.......Very fair but very judgemental as well.......but i guess thats what judges job is !!! |

The only problem with Mr. St. George is that he is endorsed by Paterson and Suozzi.
Two of the most untrusted polititians in the State. Mr. St George will be well advised to stay away from those two. |

1 I know someone that appeared before her in NYC. She takes no garbage from ANYONE, especially lawyers that try to use the system to avoid their fiduciary responsibilities... |

Judge Eisman is a very fair and reasoned jurist. I have had experiences with about 12 family court judges in the past and Eisman is by far the best judge I experienced. She is thorough, reasoned, follows the correct civil procedure, and she does not shoot from the hip like many family court judges. I don't always agree with her decisions, but I respect he judgments. She is not predisposed to rule against fathers like many judges in the family courts and if you lay out your case logically she does not seem to bias her decisions even when you represent yourself pro se. Having said that, you better know generally what you are about if you represent yourself especially if you are opposed by an attorney. The only area that I might be critical of Judge Eisman is her reliance on the recommendations of the Law Guardian. This is a common problem in the family courts. The Law Guardian is a court-appointed attorney representing the interests of the child. Many Law Guardians routinely exceed their mandates in the family courts and become very biased, often in favor of the mother. This can influence not so much the critical decisions of the court, but the procedural decisions on such things as costly forensics and investigations and reports (I&Rs). The courts in general take up a lot of time to make decisions and this can impact visitations by the non-custodial parent in a very negative way. |

I can tell you first hand that many decisions made
by family court judges are SUBJECTIVE. The judgements have 1. No Measure or scale what so ever. 2. No consistant flow chart to their decision making. All subjective. To cover their butts the following statement is always applied: Decisions are on a case by case basis. Many organizations can provide a flow to decision making. Family Courts Judges can not because their method to a decision is flaky and inconsistant. When it comes to a decision the outcome is dependent on what they ate for breakfast for many of them and how they feel. |
