I do not stand by illegal Mexicans, but the truth is that OUR OWN GOVERNMENT let them come in and work here because of money and lobbies. At one time, every employee had to fill out an I-9 form to prove they were "legal" before getting hired. Today, it doesn't matter.
So it's the U.S. government who really skewered the American people.
Lastly, the low wage jobs the Mexicans are doing, REALLY ARE jobs us Americans don't want to do. If the pay was better, Americans would beat down their doors. This topic board is about illegal aliens. No one could force anyone to do anything. If someone illegally entered the U.S.(or any other country), they are violating laws and performing criminal behaviors for which they could receive punishments. Each person is responsible for her/ himself. Please don't blame "government" for those committing crimes by illegally entering the U.S.

It is not just "illegal Mexicans" and this may show your bias or sensitive spot. It may be that illegal Hispanics or Latinos are in the limelight due to the numbers of those populations illegally entering the U.S, or it may be because the legal persons of that race are not helping the "country they love" to stop the illegal behaviors - but are more likely to defend criminal behavior (ridding Loud Dobbs?).

You appear to chastize a writer for prejudice and hatred, and then call people "white pieces of trash" as if your hatred is different than others'? Maybe, everyone could try and not generalize and try to not label for Xmas?

If you know anyone who is employing persons without proper documentation, you (just as well as anyone) could report that information - even anonymously.

Lastly, you commanded persons to "go to church and ask forgiveness". If you adhere to religious teachings, you probably know that Jesus commanded you not to judge and that, those who judged, were to be considered anti-christs.

This whole threa has been about generalizing. Most of the posters generalize that all Mexicans, not just illegal Mexicans, have destroyed Hazleton. You, on the other hand have tried to distort and misrepresent my outlook by taking my own words,"white pieces of trash," out of context a vicious technique used by the major network news outlets. You, yourself, have generalized and deduced that "legal" Mexicans actually condone illegal behavior..JUST BECAUSE they don't say anything. As a matter of FACT, I work with many LEGAL Mexicans who are too tired, overworked and overwhelmed by bill to even care about illegals.
I never said I knew of anyone who employs illegals, but all of you seem to know who is and isn't illegals and, I guess, you also know who employs them. THerefore, I insist that you report those employers and hope our government acts on OUR behalf.

I also read an article that said illegals are leaving the country in droves, leaving a significant number of rental units unoccupied which has resulted in many foreclosures.

1. Please evidence "outright hate" by this writer. If not, please limit your statements to those of that ilk.

2. Please evidence that persons (including myself) have not reported illegal aliens or their employers? If not, please limit your responses to what you know, your experience or evidence.

3. Citing legal persons of the Hispanic race is similar to people debating drug sales in a community and you posting you know Caucasian (pick a race) persons who do not sell drugs. The topic is about illegal aliens and persons of that race who do not overtly (or in any other manner) oppose illegal and criminal behavior that appears to represent the Hispanic race more than not in the area. Do you read the Standard Speaker?

Please identify the population of races and those represented by crimes. Please identify who or when or where you could evidence Hispanic persons opposing illegal criminal Hispanic acts in this community? Quite the contrary, it appears!
