I find it disturbing yet totally predictable that a politician will "use" a statistic inappropriately to push his agenda. Two medical bankruptcies every minute accounts for only 0.3% of the US population. Still too many, but not a point to go nuts. My observations are that many if not most cases like Kerry Burns' are helped or totally relieved by charitable contributions. Free will offerings from the heart rather than confiscatory government realocation which is less effecient and layered in bureaucracy and waste.

The whole system is a rip-off.

"Every 30 seconds, another American files for bankruptcy after a serious health problem. In no other country is that the case."

Can you guess why?

I don't like your reasoning. Said another way, 1,051,200 Americans file each year. People are being forced into bankruptcy because of $20 aspirin and fraud. If this doesn't prove we need a public option then nothing will.

You're not thinking clearly. Just because there's a hundred dollar bill in the middle of the road doesn't mean we run out in traffic to get it. Get real. Public option would destroy the economy further.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Sagittarius

Pay attention to your health as the Moon enters Taurus and your sixth house of health and service today; it might be time for a check up. With Neptune and Jupiter in your third house, nervous tension could be leading you into bad habits that will undermine your health. If you feel stressed out, reach for your athletic shoes instead of a double martini and you'll be happy with the results.
