Western Montana river levels rising

I'd say the same if I didn't have family living there. Which I am hopefully seeing move out when they can afford it. Libby really is a terrible place. My mother would move out if it were not for her idiot husband she married and "never wants to leave Libby." Before she married him she wanted to leave like the place was Hell itself. My sister is talking with me about moving down to were I live. I truly hope so too, as I'd hate to see her or her daughter harmed by the horrible health conditions in Libby. Along with the rotten horrible health and education systems in that dump of a town. I was just reading not to long ago about how even more murders were happening in Libby. Considering the local newspapers not reporting much of what happens I am sure more more is going on. I've seen people who have been cut and stabbed by "gang wannabes", had the life almost beat out of them by local rednecks and skinheads, overdosed on drugs and done insane crazy things like try to kill roommates and friends and lovers, and all kinds of horrible violent things. Lots of sex offenders... lots. Who would want to raise a child in this place? Certainly not anyone considered a good parent. Stay away from Libby. Hell... stay away from Montana.

My friend.....There IS life after Libby Mt.If I could get ...the rest of my family out of Libby I would.All people in Libby should of been given the opion to stay or move.These least these bast*rds could do.I too know alot of people who would love to move but can't.Not without help.Libby is a dead end and deadly town.A cut throat town with so much corruption and crime,etc,etc..Lincoln County is a bad taste to alot of people.People who have been screwed by Libby and Lincoln county thuggs,low lifes,goons,rock crawlers,etc etc.I have lived it of 40 years.I wish I had never, ever moved,lived and breathed in Libby...Except for friends and family and they are all dying too....Bastards....Stay away from Libby Mt.Thank you

Oh but so true really.Just think,with all people outta their of course,to flood and bury the entire town and Troy with water and build a dam at Bonner ferry.BRILLENT HUH.They buried towns when Libby dam went in.This Govt can do anything THEY want.But this would resolve the deadly exposure to humans issue in Libby.Just a thought...Libby has done alot of damage to many people for many years.Many don't forget what Libby was like back when nothing was just.Nothin...Ain't changed much to today....

Well,I loved Libby too until I was told what Libby did to me and all of us.Until then,life was grand.If you have asbestosis,fine.Libby is the place for you.Libby still is grand.BUT it is not grand for our children and theirs.That is my point.Children must not expose themselves to Libby's deadly air.I am trying to save them....not old folks like you and I.I still have and always will have fond memories of 40 years of life in Libby and the last 10 years of my life and most of us has been the price paid for those years of not knowing we will suffer and die later.Libby today...still kills people.period

Nothing needs to move to Libby UNTIL Libby is made clean and safe.UNTIL then,keep all children out.Allow retiries over 60 move right in,anytime but any new business,employees,people/fami lies must wait till it is safe.to do other wise is to knowingly poison people to suffer and die.Lets get real now.Libby has had more money run through it then any time since the Damn went in.Over 400 Million and the ONLY jobs in Libby are clean up and Casino's.When EPA leaves,so does Libby.Then what.I don't really care cuz I wish Libby would just blow away....forever.

For those of you thinking Mike Crill and I are dumping on Libby for no reason. Go take a walk down near Rosauers and once you get there walk over to the stream running under the bridges between the two shopping areas. While standing on the road or sidwalk (depending on which bridge) read the sign beside the stream. The one with the words "WARNING" or "CAUTION" on it. I couldn't tell you if they are still there, but it was about 8 months ago. Now do that at any stream that runs under any bridge in the area. If you are located in Libby do that, it's an interesting eye opening read. I've seen many many children playing in those streams, it goes through many residents backyards too. Those streams also run into the river that goes through Libby. Many people fish in that river, and many eat those fish, along with their families. Honestly, Libby doesn't need any new people there to do business or run businesses until the risk of exposure is none. Only businesses I've seen moving into town are casinos. Even though I think casinos are garbage low life businesses I still don't wish asbestos poisoning on the people who work at them or run them. So anyone who is in Libby, go read those signs if they are still there. I read them the day they put them up.

MSS Hi...Damn rights I am dumping on Libby.I hate Libby.Some people I like but nothing about Libby and what was done to us and continues to be done to others is just plain murder.I don't see Libby or anyone saving anyone from moving/breathing Libby's deadly air.Just the opposite.Those creeks that are deadly is just frickin unreal.Many children swim in these deadly places.Like Libby Creek from above the old Lumber mill/Spencer Road all the way to the River,all three aquifers are poisoned beyond human consumption/use.That entire length of this creek is full of deadly chemicals/toxins,etc such as crosote,benzene,PCBs,asbestos. ..you name it.I have tried for years to stop all swimming and fishing alone this polluted site as all children are at risk of exposure.No one ever did a thing and the children have continued to expose themselves with some really deadly stuff.Libby is just a hell hole full of suffering,pain and death from Tremolite asbestos that is everywhere.The question is and has been since 1999....WHAT ISN"T DEADLY...in Libby Mt????WHAT????? Mike ... I know its got to hurt. Libby recovering without you, but you made your decision to give up on Libby. Be truthful with yourself - I know it hurts to see Libby recovering, but let just face the facts - regardless of what ever Mike Crill says from Va. will not change the fact that Libby is a recovering town near the end of its clean up. Thats a fact you just cant ignore. You can carry the issues that Asbestos is bad... thats fine, no one disagrees. But dont think for a minute that anyone holds the town of Libby responsible. Its like saying Hiroshima was responsible for the atomic boom. Its too big of a leap in reality - even for you. Make your peace with Libby now before you die, move your life in a positive direction.
