H group has been detailing cars for years. In the same spot. Theyve upgraded some of the services offered but them doing it is nothing new. Been taking my cars their for the past few years and will continue to do so. They enjoy the work, do a good job, and appreciate not only the business but the opportunity to work and interact with customers. Unlike some of the others who have posted on here.

'stretch it' once again you are saying things that show your ignorance. I am a woman. Not a man. Nice try. I do not subscribe to "Car Detailer Digest" I have just used my common sense. Anyone who lives in town and drives down main street daily could tell these things. I did not start this thread and I wasn't standing up for any one business or person with my comments. If you were smart you would realize that the word "detail" includes more than simply washing cars. I get it. You didnt go to college nor were you educated enough to know how to use your common sense. Message received loud and clear. Really and truly you get an A for effort on trying to 'snap' on me but all of your efforts were senseless considering none of them were true. Once again. Nice try.

Whether you believe it or not doesn't matter. It's the truth. Call me a liar all you want, there is obviously nothing I can do to make you believe me and that's fine. Atleast God and I both know that I speak nothing but the truth.

I will nevr visit again either detail shop in west frankfort due to these rude and uncalled for statements. H-group will detail my vehicle when need be & im fully confident they will do just as well if not better. Im sure when others are informed about the way individuals working through the H-group were talked about on this site they will not be returning to any other detail business as well, and they will be informed.

Amazed at the ignorance that so called" normal" people let spew out of there mouths.....the men and women that work at the H group may have a handi cap of some kind but the people on here that are running there mouths and would even be as low to call names are the real "retardes" as you say. The H group provides a full service wash and detail and they do a very good job. They have had the car wash for many years as part of there outside contracts for there clients. As far as taking bussiness away from other bussinesses well thats the name of the game. Some people prefer big macs and some prefer whoppers so..........

Knocking those guys out of business is no answer. Just like tolerance should be extending to the Hgroup so should tolerance to the OP. Hurting people is not the best path. Shunning rarely bears fruit and deepens hostility. Having these local guys detail your car and then reminding him these people are struggling just like him would probably yield better results. Besides, competition is better for the consumer.

Small biz owner ....how about you take your customers cars to the H Group let them clean it then drive it back to your shop ready to go. You will lower your overhead cost, make money because you charge double, you will be able to sit on your ass and your customers will likely be more pleased with the job done on their car. Now that's smart business!

For anybody who thinks that I've been the one posting on here you're all sadly mistaken. I'm not into wasting my time talking about others, especially on a website like this. Also, for you who have a complaint about any service of mine you should really act like an adult and contact me instead of trying to think your voice on this site is going to hold any clout with people with common sense such as myself. If my work wasn't all that great then why is it that there have been members of the H groups office, Weeks and individuals from other dealership including an individual from Chicago(which I travel there to see for the cost of gas) that come to me on a regular basis? I went to school for automotive mechanics and technology which was not for detailing cars but to keep up with the change in the industry so no matter what I was doing as long as it's in the car biz I am going to have a job. It just so happens that out of the vast opportunities I've had I really enjoyed detailing vehicles more than anything else, so I decided to enroll in a trade school to learn how to do what I loved. I use several of the same products as other local dealerships and I also order products from other parts of the U.S. based on reviews and quality. Whoever started this forum asked a simple question and was looking for an answer not simple people looking to start gossip. Anyway, I have to get back to the real world where people like myself have to work to make money to pay for things in life instead of sitting on here talking about people and things they know nothing about. Have a great day!
Hats off to you for doing what you need to do to survive. I have a college education and have mowed grass, cleaned houses, worked in gas stations, and detailed cars, anything, just to survive at times. A college degree does not guarantee anyone a white collar job. The H group has been detailing cars for years, but they have usually worked from their location on W Main. They do a good job and many have lots of experience. I've had my car detailed at a 'professional business' in town last winter. They ruined my car. I just wanted it washed, not waxed and cleaned on the inside. A kid could have done a better job. I don't know what they used to wash it with, but there was a film on it that took many hand washings on my part to get it all cleaned off. I finally used cleaner wax and polish to get it all off. I don't use the H group. I do it myself now. No offense to you or any other business owner.

For your information 'snap' I am friends with one the private detail shop owners. He went to college to actually work in the automotive field and has over 15 years of experience. So you need to watch what you say whenever you don't know what you're talking about. Plus, if his work wasn't that good then why does he have stable return customers from other towns besides wf such as carbondale and as far as chicago?
It doesn't matter who you are friends with, and I do know what I am talking about.I did say #2 of the detail shops, did I mention your friend.FYI there are more than 2 detail shops.
On the subject of your friend,if he has more than 15 years of experience, maybe he can tell me how to get the soured, moldy smell out of my vehicle,it was caused by one of the detail shops soaking the carpet from front to back and then letting stay closed up so it wouldn't dry.and it damn sure couldn't drain out With more than 15 yrs experience he would know better than to do that wouldn't he? And then charge 100.00 bucks and the carpets still be dirty.
But if your friends work is so good he has no need to worry about the excellence that folks from the H group have mastered. They even had a shop at Danny Days building that is now a voting place.Yep they have been cleaning cars quite some time and doing it with Honor and PRIDE IN THEIR WORK.
For whom ever started this topic...There is no competion with any shop and the H group.Their work speaks volumes, loud and proud.

Snap, you can polish a turd as much as you want and it's still going to be a turd. I myself have been around cars for years and you can't expect miracles. Once you've dumped certain things on carpets it doesn't matter what you do it will not come out. Soaking carpets for hours is usually the only way to get certain color stains out unless you want to use harsh chemicals. As far as the smell they make chemicals to remove that too, but they also take hours or days to work. I'm sure if you would go at this in a more adult way than on this site you'd probably get better results on resolving your problem. The only reason anyone post on here is to start shit. This whole thing is so far off topic it's ridiculous. No one was bashing H Group, it was a simple question that everyone on here has decided to blow out of proportion.

Many people in west frankfort claim disability and set on their ass all day.The H group people do have disabilities that they are trying to overcome and they WORK.Don't know who is complaining about the H group car wash, but I am betting you would get a more detailed job to your car with them. Two of the private detail shops in west frankfort are a joke,
your "crass" remark was uncalled for
But still it is well known that our tax dollars should not go to create competition to the taxpayer.

And i also think its a good thing to help build skill to those who need it.

H is for humane services. They offer programs to assist the mentally impaired. They have a variety of work programs one of which happens to be car washes. I don't know if they do detailing (cleaning up the interior), but "small business owne' r" would lead me to believe that they do.
So, without being to crass, "They Give simple jobs to retards"....

see them be prodictive and pay taxes or would u like to pay more taxes on those people that can't make it in this cruel ass world!!!!

the people that are actually detailing the cars do not even make minimum wage (not even close)...that is how they can charge that low of a price.....
the government is not going to do anything because it is a catch 22...in order for most of those folks to even live where they are living they have to go to a day training site (h-group)..and depending on how they function depends on the type of job they get....so yes the original poster has a valid argument (because they are also partially funded by the gov to watch over these folks)....but nothing will be done...
by the way the did have a detailing shop for a bit on the other side of 57 there in WF before they moved to that new location....
