Renaming Cleveland Street

To start off I WILL NOT name names. But it has come to my attention that during the Executive (Secret!) Session on Tuesday the city council will consider renaming Cleveland Street to "Martin Luther King Boulevard."

I have heard this from several wives husband and even children of current council members! I have it on good authority that these shadowy figures will deny it in public, UNTIL IT IS PASSED!!

What has this town come too? I half to drive my oldest son to ballgames down that street!! How will I explain the name change? How is he suppose to understand when at our house we celebrate James Earl Ray Day??!!

If you care at all about our community and your Christian values you will be at City Hall at 7 p.m. on Tuesday August 7 to PROTEST! We cannot allow this to be done in our town and we cannot allow the our city council to do it IN SECRET during the same meeting they're going to turn the high rise over to Moreland Collage!!

Youre talking about the same people who steal from are homes and make our volleyball players pregnant!!! You better think again if you don't think it can happen to you on MLK, which use to be a safe place to raise your kids.

And to answer "derrrr," you are incorrect on your assumption. Not everyone wants "black peoples money" and then leave town. I'd prefer to stay 100% segregated.

That's exactly why Franklin County don't get any big businesses. Because of being racist. No company is going to put their business in a place that does not welcome different ethnic groups. Because they have to hire a certain percent of minorities. I'm talking big companies. So don't ever expect Franklin County to grow much and sit back and watch Williamson and Jefferson county grow.

Exactly what is the point in renaming it at all? The city needs to worry about more important matters..LOL

This is not true so stop spreading rumors. This town had people stealing before black people were here. It is a trashy white town with many problems before they came here. I agree this racism is a big reason this town hasn't grown. At least others coming here and getting girls pregant is mixing te gene pool up a little.
