It is ridiculous to think thatMr. Phillips would EVER cause any harm to his own grandchildren! The only harm that came to them was at the hands of the NYS police in taking them from their home. Even if he had been "taken" at the home, again the harm to them would have been from the NYS police firing on him with NO ! regard to the children's safety. Mr. Phillips was railroaded into a guilty plea. He may and probably is guilty of the crimes he has been accused of BUT! certainly NOT first degree murder. for any one caring to know Mr. Phillips is STILL being held in solitary and not allowed ANY! contact visits with his daughter. Imagine spending your days in an 8x10 cell and when your daughter who is financially distressed saves up the money to travel and get a hotel room to see her father is not even allowed to hug him, not even once, or touch him physically in any way. This is an outrage. If he is guilty of anything it would have to be 2nd degree murder. I urge anyone interested to write to Mr. Phillips. Send him cards and letters of support to keep his spirits up. His current address is: Mr. Ralph B Phillips #06B3437, PO Box 2001, Dannemora, NY 12929. If you wish to send him money for his commissary account it must be in the form of a postal money order. You must also address his mail by his proper name: Ralph B Phillips. I am assuming any mail addressed to "Bucky" will be returned to you.

You have got to be kidding, Right?

He was a fugitive from justice, armed to the teeth. By hiding out in the house he put his grandchildren at risk.

He entered a guilty plea, because he was guilty. He
committed murder. As far as I am concerned, he can stay in solitary for the rest of his life. If you want to show sympathy, show sympathy to those who have been victimized by Ralph Phillips. If you want to contribute money, send it to the families of Ralph Phillips's victims.

I would like to know what charges were brought against the State Trooper who MURDERED the innocent Returned Army Veteran, who was riding his 4 wheeler. The blood thirsty Trooper clamed his gun belt was hung up. If he was that close he knew it wasn't Bucky Phillips he was firing at.

He deserves to be locked up 24 hours a day in a cage where he belongs. I hope to God NOBODY sends this menace to socity a dime! He should have thought of contact visits and his family before he decided to arm himself against the police, and carry out his scheme. He shouldn't be allowed near humans, since he is an animal himself.

He was being send to another prison to serve time for another crime. What would anyone benefit from all that craziness that was going on?

The man is a criminal and deserves to be behind bars. He cold heartedly killed people and placed many others at risk, including the well being of his family. As far as the trooper who killed the man on the 4 wheeler... that is is an entirely different set of circumstances. First, the man ran away from the police, second, the man wouldn't stop when the trooper was being dragged from the back of the 4 wheeler (therefore the man did not have any regard for the troopers life either...). Third, no one (no matter well trained) has perfect aim when they are being dragged from the back of the 4 wheeler... Bucky had intent to harm, this makes him a threat to anyone, even his own family. Solitary confinement may be extreme, but he got away once, he will try it again...

I say let's re-route all the white trash supporters welfare checks to him! what an idea, instead of getting the monthly tax-payer funded check to sit around their trailers and cabins, send the money in a pool directly to Phillips. then, when the scum supporters run out of tax-payer funded tobacco and booze will they realize the futility of sending the convicted murderer any money. by the way, when you escape from jail and go on a murderous crime spree you are considered an extreme risk to the rest of us humans and need to be caged for eternity in a filthy little cell, far far away from us honest, hard working and civil folks. if he needs a hug tell him to grab the bars or wrap his dirty little face around the metal toilet seat in his 8 x 10 cell.

The so-called SYSTEM made a monster out of Bucky Phillips. Why couldn't they have just left him alone? He was only a "petty car thief" he never harmed anyone, until the cornered him like a rat. I pray Bucky will find peace and contentment sometime in his lifetime.

He broke out of jail. Thats a crime is it not? Stealing other things people have worked hard for is not something to just be ignored. They didn't make a monster out of him. Everyone in the surrounding towns were helping him and cheering him on until he started getting dangerous. He always had a gun on him and probably always watching his back. Not a man I want in my town around my Children, my family or even my friends. It is rotten it became such a big deal but it is over. Hes being punished for what he is doing. Its over and done.

correct me if I'm wrong but didnt his daughter hide him out when she knew he was a wanted man..that trooper would not have been murdered if it wasnt for her...Why were no charges ever brought on to those family members who "aided and abedded" a fugitive? Those children should be taken away forever and @$$hole Bucky should be butt f u cked and skull f u cked severly for the rest of his miserable life
