During the public comment period of Tuesday's 01.17.2012 City Council meeting, community activist Carolyn Arndt, 80, served Council members Sherri Lane, Mike Touhey and Shelley Sanderson a notice of intent to circulate a petition to recall, amid outrage that they supported selling 2.6 acres of public land to a private developer.

Sanderson wouldn't have supported the deal either way. It's hard to lump her in with those two if you look at her voting record. She doesn't even have the same supporters. As for as so called "DA investigation", I'd welcome it, but I doubt there's anything to find.

The facts are the city is really broke the fictious letter from the city manager forgot to mention he included the citys assets not the liquid cash on hand that is gone why do you think the city is selling off it's properties. The city's redevelopment is left owing 1.2 billion dollars yes not millions but billion thanks to your old timers Herfert and Touhey and dont forget Sanderson. The Recall must go forward and remove this cancer now or the city will go to bankruptcy. The bond credit rating will go so bad that the city can't afford to borrow either. RECALL RECALL RECALL
