One killed, one wounded in shooting at Halloween party in West ...

West Covina sure seems to be going downhill lately.

Between Covina and West Covina they are in the news daily.What happen here?

Budget cuts and not enough officers, thats what I was told by city hall. When I asked why they are not hiring officers (becuase my nephew wants a job), they said they were "freezing" positions. No one on city council listens..., until of course it happens on their street.

West Cochina should name every street SHADYdale. How many Halloween party shootings were there all together in this city?

I hear this party was to die for...

W Covina is just the same as living in East L.A. or El Monty. The whites should take cover at the Alamo till theses crazy Mexican finish shooting each other. Note: You might be a crazy Mexican or Redneck if... You've ever shot anyone for looking at you. Only joking don't shot! ;)

West Covina is definitely becoming more like Baldwin Park and El Monte. There is only one Mexican family on my street in South Hills and whatta surprise...yard is unkept, loud parties on weekends, teenagers hang out on the curb, 5 cars parked on street...we're talking about $700K houses. No other family on the block is like them.

No one should be having a "grad party" anyway. You are supposed to graduate, there is nothing to celebrate.

If you want to celebrate something, celebrate when you have been employed for 5 years, have a retirement plan, and a college fund for the kids you don't have yet.

Keep getting on the city council to hire more police officers. They seem to have money for their "learning" trips and everything else, but not for the things our city needs the most. The lovely West Covina Theater Center with the nice restaurants are all but completely gone thanks in part to violence in the area. Why do we continue to keep the same people on the council year after year with terrible results.
