Yeah, if people would quit talking, Lexington County would actually have to WORK! You can't tell me that they found this place on their own. Hell, Glenn Street has crack dealers,so what are they going to do about that? And the law has known about this for years......crack is WAY worse than weed!

These people sit at home and post these stupid comments about these horrible pot dealers and dont even have a clue. The law does NOT do their job or people would not be dying in drunk driving accidents everyday... overdosing on methamphetamine... selling crack on every corner on Glenn Road... and we should not have to do their jobs {as citizens} they have been doing this for15-20 years, they dont care to catch them.
I am rooting for probatio at the worst, PROBATION!!!

Lexington County Law Enforcement is pretty good. Hey, in Beaufort County, the drug dealers, traffickers, and smugglers are EVERYWHERE, they do deals everyday and Law enforcement just looks the other way. If they arrest one, one-in-a-thousand, the dealers are able to prevail in court and are back on the street. It's so corrupt. It's terrible down here.
Same in Columbia. Drug dealers deal in front of the cops here. The cops are just too busy running call to call to really take notice. For the capitol city, they pay horrible and can't keep any experienced cops on the street.
cops what a joke

We all know the Lexington Co. police have knowledge of all activity but choose to only raid places once they are running low on meeting quotas and need publicity from the community. POT is POT. THE POLICE SPEND LESS TIME ON SERIOUS CRIMES BECAUSE THEY LACK THE EDUCATION TO HANDLE THESE CRIMES. WHAT IS BEING ACCOMPLISHED BY PUTTING A SMOKER BEHIND BARS? NOTHING. THE POLICE HAVE ON AVERAGE 1-2 YEARS COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND LOVE HAVING THE EGO POWER WHICH THEY LACKED HAVING IN HIGHSCHOOL. WHAT ABOUT ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE SYSTEM. THERE ARE SO MANY CORRUPTED COPS ITS SAD. I HAVE SAID ENOUGH. COPS ARE NOT TRAINED PROPERLY, EGO DRIVEN ASS HOLES WHO LOVE HAVING A GUN THEY CAN PULL ON A FREAKING OLD LADY.

marijuana was the nation's largest cash crop, at $35.8 billion over a three-year period, and was the single largest cash crop in 12 states, including South Carolina. From 2003 to 2005, marijuana production and sales amounted to a $142 million industry in the state, ahead of tobacco ($97 million) and cotton ($92 million).

COME ON PEOPLE, THE POLICE ARE DOING A VERY GOOD JOB. THIS IS YOUR COMMUNITY. I HERA A LOT OF TALKING ABOUT WHAT THE POLICE IS NOT DOING, WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING TO PROTECT YOUR STREETS. I DO KNOW A LOT OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO GOT ARRESTED, SOME OF THEM ARE MY FAMILY MEMBERS, BUT THEY CHOSE THAT PATH, AND YES THEY GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED, BY GETTING ARREST BY THE POLICE. I CHOSE TO MOVE AWAY FROM THERE 26 YEARS AGO BY JOINING THE MILITARY, SO POLICE YOUR OWN STREETS AND HELP THE POLICE AND STOP BEATING THEM UP. I BET MOST OF YOU NOT ONLY KNOW PEOPLE SELLING DRUGS ON YOUR STREETS, BUT SEE THEM EVERYDAY AND JUST DRIVE BY THEM AND SKAKE YOUR HEADS IN DISCUSE.
GET A CHANCE TO KNOW YOUR LOCAL POLICE THEY CAN BE A BIG HELP CLEANING UP YOUR STREETS WITH THE COMMUNITY'S HELP. IN THE TOWN ON GLENN ROAD THERE IS ONLY ONE CHURCH, SO THE PASTER IS THE LEADER OF THAT COMMUNITY, INSTEAD OF HAVEING CHURH IN THE BUILDING GET OUT ON THE STREET AND TALK TO THE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN WHOSE SELLING DRUGS, AND LIKE ANOTHER PERSON SAID IN ANOTHER LETTERIF WE START DOING OUR JOBS TO CLEAN UP OUR COMMUNITY, THEN THE POLICE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP.

umm yeah, theres a very long process that it takes for the police to do their job, it takes proof that the person is doing it when people complain to law enforcement then they need to go under cover and make sure he is sellin it, then when he sells it they get the evidence and waits for the guy to have alot of marijuana and busts him with the most they can get ihm with sometimes it takes years...

Have to have something to replace the lost textile industries. Nothing like a cash crop. SC should legalize it and tax it. There would be no state income tax if that happened.

Wow, and my beliefs are confirmed. LCSD really has too much time on their hands.

When will the federal and local governments learn, the war on drugs cant be won.

"Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."

Abraham Lincoln,
December 1840
