I can make the argument that he is pumping 5 and a half Billion dollars out of the ecomomy from people who could make a better decision on how to spend it. Yes bridge repair is important but there is plenty of fat elsewhere in the budget that can be cut first. Plus there is a ton of waste in the construction projects themselves. Take West Housatonic St. for instance. i think the Great Wall of China was built in less time. I think we probably spent a billion just on police details.
