Wesley Chapel will get thrift store

The clamor to stop a Salvation Army thrift store from going up near an upscale Wesley Chapel neighborhood turned into a whimper Thursday.

95% of Wesley Chapel residents don't want a Salvation Army Store on Ste Rte 54 across from Lexington Oaks. We've already had auto dealerships shoved down our throats, an elementary school on busy Ste Rte 54 and lord knows what else to devalue our property. Who are the yahoos in office approving this? How many signatures of Wesley Chapel residents do you need to veto? 1,000 signatures were collected in Lexington Oaks alone from the more thean 1.500 homes there.

Keep situations like this in mind when the County Commissioners come up for re election. They are the ones that approve these types of businesses. We have overcrowded roads and over development all over Wesley Chapel.
