Motorists accuse Wentzville mayor of chasing them

I think this guy is mentally ill. If he wants to play cop, let him go to the academy where he'll learn to do it the right way. Not fit mentally to be mayor.

Ohhh....No..... Not another mayor trying to play police officer. Isn't there a law against impersonating a police officer. This idiot is acting way out of his means of job title. He should be ticketed and sent before a judge to answer to his mentally deranged ways of playing cop and robber. He put people's lives in danger including his own. Moron.

If the police know he's doing this then why arent they doing something to stop him? Duh!!! This is or could be considered stalking and if he detains someone as he's confronting them (without proper power of authority) then he's commiting false imprisonment. But I suppose one would need more specifics on part where he was confronting the parties involved. It sounds like this guy is mentally unstable.

I just wonder. COuld the state police be called in to investigate this? They would be the perfect neutral party to do so. I'm sure they'd put a stop to it real quick.

That's a damn shame. The people of this town need to contact the higher ups. Congressmen, state authorities, etc. Maybe someone should file a restraining order against him? It can be done.

Call Eliot Davis. He would love this story. I actually like him. He confronts a lot of crap that is wrong. The town people need call the new station. I'm sure if the mayor is confronted on the news, his actions will stop.

Right On! And while Elliot Davis has this guy on camera he could ask him to provide and show proof of his power of authority to stop and detain these people.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too. I would imagine this mayor would only be able to stutter. Please, let this news station know about this guy. They will investigate it. They love this type of stuff.

I totally agree that this man is off of his rocker, in more ways than one. Additionally, under his Mayoral Administration, more minorities in the area have been racially profiled by the police, since he took over as Mayor of Wentzville.
I have heard about this from atleast nine different people, and some were hispanics. He isn't fit to be the local dog catcher in my book. Paul Lambi is a disgrace to the City Of Wentzville. The residents in that town, need to do a much better job when they are at the voting booth, and elect someone with real trustworthiness and integrity.
Paul Lambi, is the same character that wanted to allow bow hunting for deer, in the city limits of Wentzville. Does it get much loonier than that? Talk about a joke! Lambi should be impeached!!!

All the signs are up.......he is running for mayor another term, heaven help us!

everybody make sure to vote.......get him out of there.
