Bishop does some good things, but he sometimes votes for some pretty bad legislation such as CAFTA. He also has too many special interest ties for comfort. Bowen seems decent but not is not the time to put in a democrat. Sorry, it's true. Pearson wants to decrease legal immigration. That will only make the illegal immigration problem worse. Stratton seems to be the only real choice out there.

Looks like to me most people want a conservative and will end up splitting the vote so bad we all get a liberal. Rob Bishop is a good man, no one is going to be perfect but he has been doing a good job on whole. We will eventually need to replace him with another conservative but not yet in my opinion.

I see Rob Bishop as ineffective. Bowen will provide Utah with sound, sensible, responsive representation. I don't believe he has any big donations to "pay off" as Bishop has and he will not be ruled by party politics.

Kirk Pearson is the best candidate because he will follow the constitution. Bishop voted for CAFTA which allows an unelected world governing body to control trade. Bishop promised constituents not to vote for it, but his vote for it was the tie-breaker. Congress should regulate trade, not pawn it off on an unelected world body.
