Not hardly. The electric lines were starting to catch on fire. A neighbor was running people way and a cop got there first.

that neighbor that was running people off was an off duty firefighter....he was just trying to keep everybody safe...knowing that the power pole was burning...even though he was off duty...the firefighter was letting the responding crews know wat was happening. every explosion he was telling them. when the power pole was burning he told them...even had aep enroute before Incident commander took over...so be thankful theres a firefighter on this side of town

my question is, why was the said firefighter not getting a hose? the dumb people should know not to be standing around... watch from a distance. i mean, that's my thinking away, might have a bit more sense then most of the people (not all in wellston) that clearly are not the coldest beers in the fridge. just saying.

Cokefan - u r obviously not one of the coldest beers in the fridge. Would u want to spray water on a "live" electric line? Probably not the smartest choice u could make...and i doubt u would get a second chance to try it again. Way to use ur thinking cap.

how in the hell is he supposed to get a hose? get a 100 yard long garden hose? that isnt goin to do much compared to a 250psi fire hose. and hes smart for doing that (hint fire training) because of the magnesium. if he was a dumb fireman he weouldve done it. so im pretty sure hes pretty smart staying away from it and keepin others away from it.

Cokefan....were you there when it happen? Dont think so. What that fire fighter done was the right thing to do. You must have some screws loose or something bc Im pretty sure I wouldnt want to be talking about someone who saves lives. Hopefully your house doesnt catch on fire bc after youbtalking sh*t If I were him (firefighter) i wouldnt help you. Your such a low life!!

He told his family not leave the porch. But what good is that. The people in the city of wellston are dumb. There apparently dumb enough to run closer to the fire. What's that saying "dnt go towards the light"? Some must of not heard it. So all I got to say is he (firefighter) did an excellent job. And I'm glad I live in the same neighbor hood as him

We were standing back. His family maybe should of stood back with the rest of us. Some one in the crowd had to tell him to put the water hose up. Lol.

Life hasn't exactly been plain sailing recently but you're navigating your way through calmer waters again. In fact, you're feeling pretty sunny-tempered and relaxed, and may even wonder what all the fuss was about during the past few days. It's a great excuse to go out on the town, or to visit your favourite restaurant for a relaxing meal.
