Well, the new police chief is Cuban (no surprise there) Did anyone really think it was going to be different?
They tore down the Orange Bowl, we have no more Orange Bowl Parade on New Year's Eve, but we do have the Three Kings parade and that insanity on Calle Ocho, Carnival Miami. Watson Island is going to be turned into more of a monstrosity than it already is (thanks to "Jungle Island") HOTELS?
Coral Way is "Brothers to the Rescue Martrys' Boulevard...barely fits on the street sign...
In 20 years we will have let them destroy the heritage that Miami had and replaced it with asphaly and skyscrapers. Oh, by then, Castro will REALLY be dead....Anyone going back to their Cuba Libre to live? I doubt it.

As far as Miami goes, Cuban influence, money and a murderous takeover of the Port made this into the Bananna Republic it really is. Nothing short of an earthquake or a Category 6 hurricane is going to change that.

The US picked Cuba to populate S. Florida and start a middle class. Unfortunately, the Cubans were allowed to bring their dogs and cats, those who now run city government.

This is nothing new. Miami is NOT a part of the United States. It continues to suck from the federal teat and it is port of entry for the scum that can't get into the US from any other toilet bowl. But if you're not willing to abandon Miami to the Latin scum that has already stolen it, keep quiet and hope you don't piss off a cop or small time city official. This is NOT the US anymore.

REFalado will be a disaster for Miami. This is a man who sponsored a domestic terrorist, gave a 2 time DUI'er and former drug dealer the keys to the city, forced out the old (Irish) police chief and replaces him with a Cuban, in what is supposed to be an "ethnically diverse" city (which Miami clearly is not).
