Nut-Jobs Harass Idaho Wolf Hunter

Full story: huntthewest.com

Robert Millage, who successfully took a wolf on the opening morning of Idaho's historic 2009 wolf season, says he has received 50 phone calls and hundreds of e-mails calling him a "wolf murderer" and just about every dirty name in the book. It appears that the harassment campaign was organized by a posting on the Boise Craigslist website. The posting has since been removed by the site.

The animal rights terrorists that are harassing this hunter are the foulest of criminals and should be imprisoned for their invasion of his privacy and the threats that undoubtedly accompany rhetoric. I hope the local authorities understand what they're dealing with. As we know, firebombing this poor guys house is not beyond these ARA morons.

Mr. Millage,
Congratulations on a well placed shot and a good hunt. Please do not underestimate the malignant insanity of the animal rights terrorists.

Glad we don't put brains in progressive's heads. If we did we conservatives wouldn't have anything to laugh at.

I'm kind of liberal but coyotes, coons skunks, owls and hawks do enought damage to wildlife. We don't need wolfs.Nice kill, hang it in a tree in front of your home for all to see.

I say, " kill em all"
there was a reason our grandfathers generation got rid of them to start with. there will always be wolfs, but to introduce Yukon killing machines into the lower 48 was the most irresponsible act the F&G has done, besides put up gates and limit access to protect the elk on forest/state and other land stewards roads. So hippacritacal and lame. try reading the mission statements and long range plans for elk. Protect them my ass. all it seems the F&G has done was to decrease the supply while the demand has risen, and to exploit more money from the people. imho

to the so-called environmentalists, you obviously havn't seen their destruction, don't own cattle, or try to manage any big game or much of anything else. except bitch

Kill em all is right!
thankyou for taking only one more out of the destruction of the life cycle of an elk. Only problem with that is, they breed so fast, I am afraid I am going to have to plant cyanide/arsenic poppers to EXTERMINATE THE LOT OF THE WOLF

out of 35 cattle rounded up , at Campbells Pond this fall, more than 20 of them had their tails chewed off.
bloody rear ends with no tails. The rancher states he has lost more than 15 cattle... now, you tell me...
Is that responsible game management?
I agree that it is irresponsible for F&G to do what they are doing as far as the wolf is concerned.
And as for the cyanide/arsenic poppers, those are tools the US Fish & Wildlife resort to when preditors are uncontrollable. A federal entity. So don't get your panties in a knot.

We need to trap em and ship them to Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington Dc, New York, and anywhere else the damn bleeding hearts live and sit back and read the headlines then. I would love to see how they like the wolves living in their backyard for a change.

I said the same thing about B-more, Annapolis, & Silver Spring, when the antis were bitching about our upcoming bear hunt. We should live trap 200 or so bears for each city, then transport & release in the heart of those cities. Wonder how long before the cops are called to shoot the bears?

the link above is graphic, produced by Idaho F&G.
explains how there are 8 times more wolfs than elk, and they grow at a 20% rate each year. I guess we won't get elk anymore. thanks to the fish & game.

correction, the wolf breeds and thrives 8 times more than the other game, being the !#1! top of the predator food chain. And just look at that chart of the elk going down in population!
Yeah, I wonder how the big city people would deal with the wolf also.
they would probly call 911 and not take any responsibility, being the meek and anti-gun people they are.

I think we should live trap catch 5 dozen and drop them off inside the United Nations building.

i've been hunting deer for five days in a spot that has been real productive for fifteen years and haven't seen one buck deer and only a few does. we always see elk there too, but not even any sign. this place is south of kilgore. now tell me the wolves are not taking more than their fair share. too bad robert didn't shot the whole pack. JOB WELL DONE

there are always going to be nut cases. you won't always know who they are till it is too late. by then you will be in the grip of the jaws of that damn dog.
And doubt that you will fare out very well at all.
when the game is gone, they will come after you and whatever else moves, with warm blood, that stinks with the smell of fear.

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Pisces

Someone is in a no nonsense mood. This makes them rather formidable company because they aren't mucking about and they don't want to waste their time. Instead, they're very single-minded about getting what they want and they won't care who gets trampled on in the process. Be careful if this person sees you as a stepping stone towards getting what they want because they could be quite ruthless in the way they treat you.
