WOW! Cant believe that piece of trash Anders would show his face on TV. Its just a matter of time before the AB gets him.

Why is he "trash" exactly? What he did was wrong but it doesn't make him trash.

When this shooting happened, the only thing anyone had to say was that he should not have cuffed him on the ground before shooting him Flippen was as dangerous as they came and he would still be facing trial by maneuvering all of the angles if he was alive. Having just lost his partner to a point blank shot to the head, it was hard to not have sympathy for Anders. True, he should not have done what he did, but emotions don't always wait for reason to kick in.

He killed a man in COLD blood. Anders was a professional police officer. He MURDERED a man that was cuffed. That is what makes him trash. He should have been better than the man he murdered. But now is isnt!
Working in law enforcement we are held to a higher standard. We are expected to be professional in ANY situation. I have never been in a fatal incident and I hope I never am, but I have been in plenty of situations that I would love nothing more than to beat the inmate down. I didnt so Anders has NO excuse!

Well QUAD, no one is as saintly as you. He had a snap reaction to someone that had just murdered a woman, her unborn child, and a law enforcement officer. He stood trial and served his sentence.

Anders is a Cold blooded Murderer, and a coward at that. And if you call his slap on the hand justice, your an idiot! If anyone else would of executed another person, no matter what distress(excuse)they gave, It would of been a life sentence not a lousy year in lock up. he should of been put in general population so he could of received what he deserved! Another otero county good ole boy getting away with MURDER!

Really? Because a guy in Albuqerque was not charged with any crime after he shot and killed someone that was breaking into a business:

Yeah he served a measley 1 year in prison. That was not justice. He hid behind his badge and got a slap on the wrist. If it had be a regular citizen we would be doing 20 to 25.

Never said I was saintly. We all make mistakes. Anders committed 1st degree murder. When he left his partner he had EVERY intention of shooting Flippen. But his badge got him a slap on the wrist.

I just gave you the link to the story of the guy in Albuquerque. Shot and killed a guy that was burlarizing a business and didn't even go to trial. He's a hero.

What's the difference??

I'm thinking the difference is the guy killed in Belen wasn't in handcuffs at the time but of course I could be wrong.

The guy he shot in Albuquerque wasn't hand cuffed, and on his knees. The guy in alb. was in immediate danger and shot, Anders was already out of danger when he shot (executed) the creep.

The guy in Albuquerque wasn't in "immediate" danger for the suspect he shot did NOT have a weapon and he could have driven away. The guy in Albuquerque had committed a burglary, not murder like the suspect in Cloudcroft had.
